"Hahaha, even if I wanted, I could not reverse the effects now. If you lose, you will die and it is already decided that I will win so just resign already since your fate will be death after all." he replied.

I put the pawn on e4, starting the game.
"Oh nice opening, it is used by both grandmasters and beginners alike. But too bad, this will be your first and last match as you will lose. I am grandmaster after all. Ho ho ho."
He was trying to taunt me but it doesn't affect me at all but instead I was just focusing on the match.
