Hoshiko and Shiro were happily walking in Kyoto's residential area. Although the weather wasn't preferable, Hoshiko was the one who suggested the two went out on their own for a bit.
Kotsuki heavily objected since he was aware that there were attackers after them, but Enji allowed them to leave anyway.
"You've never been to school, right?" Shiro asked.
Hoshiko suddenly got flustered as she said no. Due to the potential dangers of not just her eyes but her lineage, she was home schooled.
Shiro suddenly remembered Eiko who had shown him what school was like, and decided to try and give Hoshiko that same experience.
"I saw a school nearby? Let's go visit it for bit."
Shiro suddenly grabbed one of her hands and started to drag her towards a random school from nearby, all while Hoshiko face was turning bright pink.
"Wait- you haven't put enough thought into this! Wouldn't there be students in right now?? We can't just break in! We would get into a lot of trouble!"
Suddenly Shiro halted as his face turned dark. Ever since he started properly training his psychic power, he felt his psychic senses grow stronger. The bad feelings that he used get grew more accurate, and right now he could feel it all the way from here. The presence of hundreds of Spirits, all gathered in one place.
"Hoshiko... run back to the temple! If what I'm feeling is true, then the whole area could be destroyed any minute!"
Suddenly, Shiro let go of Hoshiko as he ran towards where he felt the spirits presence. As a psychic under S.N.A.D he couldn't just leave them alone, every minute he does, more and more people die.
Once he arrived, he was met with a terrible sight. 3 spirits that looked like disfigured humans stood amongst several other students which had already been dispatched.
Shiro, without a hint of hesitation in his eyes, jumped over the gate, and quickly took them out with a single blow to their heads.
"To think I was about to bring Hoshiko here... and further more..."
Once he focused his sense on the school building before him, he could feel hundreds of spirits slowly approaching him. Shiro took a fighting stance, preparing to take them all on with his near immortal body, but instead was met with a boy he was all to familiar with.
Shiro looked at him, shell shocked at what he'd done. He tried to sense the presence of anyone in the school, but alarmingly they were all dead.
"Do you understand what you've done??? Do you how many people you've killed???? DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY LIVES YOU'VE RIPPED AWAY???"
Akihiko without a hint of emotion, blatantly said, "600 students. And I don't regret killing a single one of them."
Shiro started to emit an uncontainable amount of psychic power which damaged the floor he stood on. Remembering Yukiko who was killed by a psychic power user, his rage boiled.
"I WON'T EVER FORGIVE YOU!"
Akihiko smiled as he laughed at Shiro,
"IT'S THE SAME FOR ME TOO! LET'S BURN THIS WORLD TOGETHER!"
Shiro sprinted towards Akira who seemed to be enjoying this. He tried to throw a left punch, reinforced with psychic power, but something odd seemed to rise out of Akira's shadow.
A humanoid spirit whose hands were fused to a shield, appeared and blocked the attack.
Shiro's attacking arm began to erupt as blood spurted out from it. The extra force caused the spirit to be pushed back along with Akira into the school building.
Shiro was about to chase Akira, but then a volley of hand sized spirits were launched at him, which prompted Shiro to run away.
As he did, another humanoid spirit, this time with swords for hands, jumped out of one of the classrooms windows and instantly began to attack Shiro.
Shiro easily avoided its first strike, and on the second he let it slice his arm. He purposely lets blade cut through a little of his arm, before quickly reinforcing it with psychic power. This caused its blade to be jammed in Shiro's flesh.
Shiro was about to deal the finishing blow to the spirit, but then a giant serpent, exploded out of the building and quickly made its way towards him. It tried to swallow both him and the spirit with blades for arms, but the two ended up getting stuck in-between its jaw.
The serpent then rammed them all into the schools building, and sent them on a trip through several of its walls before Shiro was finally able to get lose and escape. As he did, he quickly regenerated from all the damage.
He walked through a hallway covered in blood, while also being able to sense the psychic power of Akira close by.
"Akira, you took that drug from Asclepius didn't you? I can understand you wanting to get revenge, but you killed hundreds of people. No matter what I try to think, you can't justify that."
Akira could only laugh as insanity took his mind.
"I hate bystanders the most. They all watched, they all knew, they're all just as guilty. But the one whose the most guilty right now, is you. If I didn't follow your advice back then, if I just kept getting bullied, THEN MY MOM WOULD STILL BE ALIVE RIGHT NOW!"
Suddenly several shadow spikes busted through the ceiling. Shiro was able to dodge the first few, and kept running as he avoided the rest. As he almost came to the end of the hallway, the giant serpent emerged from the other end and began to slither straight towards him.
Having no choice, he destroyed the wall next to him, and jumped out the building as the entire floor was destroyed.
He landed in the middle of a courtyard with a water fountain that had been dyed with the blood of the students within.
He looked up at the schools roof and saw Akira who was watching him from above.
"So what now? You kill me, and then what? You'll be a criminal for the rest of your life."
"Asclepius and Adam told me some pretty interesting things. This world is destined to be destroyed by human hands. In that rubble we psychics will rise, and eventually we will become the next humanity. The current humans of today are selfish beings that discriminate against itself. And because of that conflict and spirits are created. In the world that will be left behind, that won't exist."
Shiro pointed a finger at Akira, and prepared to fire a dead bullet.
"Akira, that world would be no different than the one we live in today. Even if the world became like that, eventually the world would just value those with strong psychic powers. Don't you see the hypocrisy in it??"
"That's the thing. Eclipse has already taken it's first steps into creating psychics. The only thing that's left is to suppress the powers of the strong. Then, and only then can a true world be created. A world where my mom doesn't have to die."
As he said that, the large head of a women began to manifest behind him. Its eyes and mouth were sewn shut, and if they weren't its likely she would scream.
Even if you were blind, the aura it was giving off would send shivers down any mans spine. Just from being around it, you could feel the nasty presence it gave off.
Spirts are born when negative human emotions gather and residual psychic power brings them to life. But when a human dies, although stupidly rare its soul can reincarnate as a spirit. Souls that undergo this process are called Gheki spirits. And they posses power and potency anywhere from 50x to 100x times a normal spirit.
"Look at her! THIS IS WHAT THEY DID TO MY MOTHER! BEFORE SHE PASSESS ON, I'LL MAKE SURE THIS WORLD IS DESTROYED FOR HER TO SEE!"
The Gheki spirits hair began to grow and form into hundreds of shadowy spikes that all began to approach Shiro.
Shiro blew up both of his legs, which propelled him into the air, but even then the shadow spikes followed him anyway.
He fired a dead rocket at them, but the severed arm was instantly destroyed before it could even do any decent damage.
One of the spikes pierced through Shiro's heart, and then another through his head, before they all began to penetrate every inch of his body.
Once he was completely skewered, his punctured body fell to the floor, while Akira pitifully watched him.
"Shiro, you gave me the right advise back then. But my hatred for this world won't allow me to live the way it expects me too. Everything that's wrong in this world, I'll turn it on his head!"
