Eiko stood before a solid wooden door, of a decent-sized detached house. The lights were turned off however there was a bright red van parked in the driveway. As she slowly put her hands on the door's handle she began to shake a little. She remembered the note that she had left behind for her parents to read when she died.
As she opened the door, she was met with an empty dark corridor that was dead quiet. She breathed a sigh of relief, before swiftly moving through it
When she walked through the corridor and reached the stairs, however, a tall man in a blue buttoned shirt suddenly appeared from the shadows of the living room. He had dark blue hair and wore thin rectangular glasses which rested on his nose.
He then said, "You were out late, Eiko."
She then jumped in shock while struggling to think up an excuse. However, she was eventually able to respond,
"I was just hanging out with some friends Dad.."
"Don't lie to me. Doctor Kyobi told us that you found someone on the beach. Didn't we tell you not to go near that place? Do you want to end up like Fuka?"
Hearing that name she quickly scoffed, before running all the way to her room.
While she did her father shouted,
"Murderers are running around in the night. Do you want to die that badly??"
As she slammed the door behind her, she quickly nabbed the letter that she left behind on her desk. Thankfully it was unopened, causing her to breathe a sigh of relief.
She sank her head into her pillow she while thinking,
"I guess I can live a little longer. You would have helped him too, wouldn't you Fuka?"
As she drifted off to sleep, time seemed to fast forward.

Eiko swung the hospital door open, only to reveal an empty bed as well as some messy mochi packaging. As she rushed inside, she shouted,
"Where are you??"
She then heard the sound of someone struggling to say, "Behind you."
As she turned around, she saw the amnestic boy, doing a handstand against the wall.
Eiko asked him what he was doing, he suddenly fell over causing him to crash into her.
Doctor Kyobi suddenly entered the room, and was surprised to see the two,
"What are you guys doing?"
The boy responded, "I saw on the TV that yoga can help increase blood flow. I was thinking that, if I got lots of blood flow in my brain then maybe my memories would come back?"
A while after the two cleaned themselves up the three sat down to talk.
Eiko then said, "First things first, we're gonna have to give you a name. Calling you that boy is really bland."
Kyobi then suggested, "How about we call him Inu? I heard that dogs can resist evil spirits and such, maybe he's been cursed?"
The boy told him, "I don't think Doctors are supposed the believe in that kind of stuff."
Then Eiko spoke over them, "You have unusually white hair. If it's natural then how about we call you Shiro?"
"Naming him after a Colour? That's quite bland isn't it??", Kyobi said while poking fun at her.
Surprisingly the boy said as his eyes began to glow, "That name... It feels familiar yet somewhat new to me. I like it."
As the boy smiled Eiko shouted, "Alright! We can't find your memories by just hanging around this place. Let's get you walking out of here. And while we're at it let's get you some clothes."
Then as if expecting this Doctor Kyobi said,
"Hold on a second. Until we find out this guy's Identity, we can't afford to have him running around the City all he wants."
Eiko replied while shouting like a child, "But I will be with himmm."
"Im sorry to tell you this Eiko, but your father said, that you shouldn't even be coming next to this boy. The fact that I'm letting you two meet, is me breaking my promise to him. You cannot take Shiro out, the decision is final."
As he said that, Shiro began to become visibly upset. Sensing the mood that he had caused in the room, Kyobi said while leaving,
"Make sure you get back before dark, if you cause any problems the higher-ups might sack me."
As he said this, Shiro began to brighten up once more. Eiko jumped up and down while cheering. Seeing this he smiled a little as he left.
Shiro then thought, "Is this the power of gravity he spoke about?"

About an hour later, Shiro and Eiko stood outside, what looked like a clothing store, in their Heiwa Cities, shopping block. Eiko still wore her school uniform, however, Shiro now wore a silver unzipped jacket, accompanied by a black shirt and jeans, as well as pure white trainers.
As the two walked down the street Shiro asked,
"So now that I look half decent, where do we start?"
"You're definitely not from my school. Someone with hair like yours would definitely stand out. Perhaps you're from a different City?"
The two wondering this, they eventually came upon a dark alleyway. Eiko chose to ignore it, however Shiro began to feel something down there. Without telling Eiko anything, he suddenly ran down the dirty street without hesitation.
As he did this, Eiko shouted,
"Where are you going, Shiro?? That place is dangerous!"
As Shiro reached the end he saw a group of three people, pushing and shoving what seemed like a homeless man. He wore a dark blue trench coat and wore a dirty red beanie.
The fingers on his gloves were ripped letting them reveal his thick fingers. As he grovelled on the floor, while the group was kicking him, the man attempted to grab onto a black umbrella that he had dropped.
The three people on the other hand all had mundane haircuts while wearing matching leather jackets. As Shiro saw them he simply stared at what they were doing.
"What do you think you're looking at kid?? Scram already!"
Shiro simply looking at him and asked, "Why?"
The man shouted, "Who do you think you are to talk back to your senpai?? Brats like you should just turn away and stay at home or something."
As he watched the group beat the man Shiro shouted, "I may not remember how society works that well, but I can already tell that you guys are the lowest of the low. You're so low in fact that you have to beat a homeless guy to make yourself feel better. Maybe if you spent that time being productive you might actually be worth something."
The man quickly turned around, while walking towards him. He shouted, "What did you say to me you little prick?"
As he said that one of the men who were beating the old man said,
"Hey Juzo-senpai. Maybe you should just let him off? He's just a stupid kid."
However, he ignored his friend's warning and instead continued to advance towards Shiro.
Now pulling out a small knife from his leather jacket pocket. Shiro had seen this kind of stuff on TV, and he understood what kind of a situation he was about to get into. This man was going to kill him, yet he felt nonchalant about it.
As Juzo approached him he said, "If you apologize now then maybe I will forgive you."
"I have nothing to say to garbage like you.", Shiro responded.
Juzo shouted at him with even more rage bursting forth from him, "ARE YOU LOOKING DOWN ON ME?? DON'T LOOK DOWN ON ME YOU BASTARD!!"
He ran up to him while aiming his knife at Shiro's throat. He quickly raises his hand to try to stop him, and instead, the blade goes straight through Shiro's left palm.
After seeing his blood Juzo screeched a little before panicking. "I didn't mean to take it this far.."
He quickly pulled the blood-stained blade out while running away. As he did he bumped into Eiko who was still chasing after Shiro.
Eventually seeing Juzo run away, the other two lackeys chase after him while cussing at Shiro.
As Eiko finally caught up to him, he asked Shiro if he was okay, only to see him gripping onto his still bleeding left arm. Eiko asked him,
"You're hurt quite badly, we need to get you back to the hospital."
However, Shiro said while pointing at the homeless man, "Go help him first."
As Eiko helped the Man back up she was able to get a greater look at the man. Despite all of his clothes looking old and worn out, he had a clean black armband on his right arm that said, "P.E.S". It wasn't just that but the umbrella he carried had those some letters carved into the handle.
As he stood up while dusting himself he said,
"Thanks for that young lady. I didn't even notice what those men were doing to me, I was asleep through it all!"
As he began to laugh it off, Eiko thought,
"What a weirdo."
Remembering that Shiro was still injured, she quickly ran back to him while pulling out sterile wipes from her bag. As she wiped it though, she was slightly shocked to see that there was no wound? There wasn't even any scarring. It was perfectly healed.
As Eiko asked Shiro if he was feeling well, he simply said,
"Maybe the wound was just shallow?"
Before the two left the dark hallway, the homeless man gave his thanks while waving goodbye to them.
The two walked through the busy streets, some girls who were also dressed, in the same uniform as Eiko took pictures of the two walking together, without them noticing.
Shiro then asked, "I saw on the TV that, you can still enter schools even when the day is finished. Can I come visit yours?"
Eiko then said, "How would that help to recover your memory?? Someone with hair like yours would stand out remember?"
As she said that a disappointed look then spread across his face. Eiko seeing this sighed before saying,
"Sure, why not."
As the two continued to converse while walking, a figure dressed in a black trench coat watched them from a distance. He placed his hands on a wall before quickly scratching it intensely, causing his fingers to even bleed. As he watched the two he said,
"A happy couple??? I haven't cut that before. I wonder what they would sound like???"
