On the lens of his eyes showed a wolf running at his partner. As it leapt through the air a man with a knife met it halfway. His body lowered toward the ground. One leg overlapped the other to twist the body. His arms extend while he rotates until the blade Dimitri punctures the skin of the wolf and tears through muscles and veins. He continues the rotation and pulls his blade from the side of their neck. Immediately l, the wolf drops to the ground with blood fleeing from their neck.
The female goblin tore off one of the nails of the wolf she stabbed. Her arm reels back and launched it at one of the wolves. They dodged immediately by lowering their body just for their eye to be met by the knife she held. With how lengthy the knife was, it pierced its eye along with the wolf's brain. She immediately went to the pile of stuff Dimitri brought to grab other projectiles.
But as she was running back two wolves rush after her. "Tsk, these guys are smart."
Wolves fight in pack. They do not fight fairly. Any weak point they can exploit they shall exploit. Any blindspots they can exploit they shall exploit. While you're concentrated on one wolf, another will attack you. While two are the main focused, more will attack. This tactic is virtually flawless amongst those around thier level. But flawless doesn't mean undefeated.
The blade leaves the handle and pierced the rib of one of the wolves. The next wolf that was right behind the female goblin was bum rushed by Dimitri's shoulder. In his peripheral vision, he saw a rcok on the ground around the size of his hand. The wolf he tackled bit his arm. "Guh." He winced at the pain but still picked the rock up. The wolf tugs at his arm as his teeth starts to sink deep into his forearm. "Agh!!! Get off!!" His free arm rose to the heavens and fell down on the wolf's neck like a meteorite.
Bones cracked, blood splattered, dying his torso in red. By the time he stopped attacking the wolf, its head was detached from its body. The rock drops to the ground next to him. The female goblin approached him, helping him lift his injured arm.
"Thanks um..." The realization of him calling her you or saying hey was baffling. "It feels awkward talking to someone without a name. I dont know if you have a goblin name or whatever but....I think I'll call you Romanov for now."
Immediately, multiple notifications with a holographic appearance manifested in front of him.

"What? I don't get....." His body suddenly started feeling woozy. "It..." the feeling of drowsiness hit him like a cannon. His eyelids became heavier than usual. His Yin Energy ran low as a tutorial lesson popped up. Dimitri fades out.
"Grah!" Mila caught Dimitri as he was falling. The sounds coming from her mouth sound like background noise as Dimitri is rendered unconscious.
______________
Light illuminates the insides of what seems to be some sort of shelter made of stone. "Mmmmh...." Dimitri's eyelids raise, absorbing the light in the area to peer onto the physical world. Awoken from his slumber, the feeling of additional weight was too noticable. Immediately, he took a peek at what was on him.
Mila was snoozing on his body peacefully.
"Did I pass out after the fight?" The entrance to their shelter looked closed off by greenery. A pack of branches and leaves fixed together by mud. "Did she make that door?"
Covering them was a pelt from the one of the wolves they fought before. All of this made Dimitri all the more curious. "Did Mila really drag me all the way to a cave? How far did she travel to take me here?"
We zoom out to a mountain that spanned over hundreds of miles in width. Covered in forestry for as far as the eye can see. The Verde engulfed the mountsin's entirety. Was this the forest they've been living in all along?
