The requirements for absorbing Monster Mana needed the manipulation of mana. Yet the manipulation of mana required him to feel Mana in the first place. This required the skill meditation.
There were prerequisites to these lessons. The question for him was, should he find an easier and faster method or should he pull through the lessons?
Meanwhile, Mila was outside of their abode. Walking through the forest at the command of Dimitri. "Wander the forest and make sure not to get into any fights when you're gone." Was his word. On her way a book bag made of monster skin. As if rocks were hitting each other, a sound similar to that came from the bag as she ran along the forest. The bushes rustle as she pass them by.
But the more she wandered, the more she found herself hearing high pitched animal sounds. She follows her ears and found the origin of those sounds. Bear cubs. They had red fur surrounding their bodies and a white triangular patch of fur on their chest.
"Gruh!?" They were surprised by her sudden appearance.
"They're so cute!! Mila can bring them to Master as a present!! Does Master like cute things?" She shrugged her shoulders and reached for the cubs. "He can tell Mila."
As she reached for them, a hand hit her cheek, making her head turn. "GET AWAY FROM MY CHILDREN!!" A small shockwave was generated from the blow, sending Mila flying through the air. The entity in question has fury in their eyes. Veins form at their bicep as they slide their pivotal leg back. Their body propels in the direction Mila flew off to.
20 feet from the original position, Mila grabbed onto a tree branch to stop herself but to no avail. "Ah.." The tree branch couldn't support her weight and forward and snapped. "Who hit Mila? Why was Mila hit? Does someone not like Mila?" She passed 10 more feet. Finally her body started falling. As she fell, a red/white haired woman was charging through the forest in a straight line. Trees, rocks, anything in her path was bulldozed over. She grabs hold of a tree. Her nails pierced through the bark and she slides down without hindrance.
Once her feet touched the ground, a hand broke through that very tree. Splinters rain on the area as the hand closed the distance between the tree and Mila. Her head tilts back and rotates, grazing her shoulder, the woman missed Mila.
"RAAAH!!"
"They're so aggressive." Mila swiftly evades their attacks one after the other. The surroundings crash from the impact of her attacks. From each attack there's gale constructed slashes after the swings. So Mila changes her position entirely to dodge the attacks.
Mila hops onto the branch of a tree when the lady was in mid swing. "WAIT!!!!" As she started to run, Mila dropped a large sack of meat in front of her.
"?? What are you trying to pull, goblin?"
"Mila don't wanna fight. Mila give present to stop fighting." She pleaded to the lady.
She bends down to grab the bone of the meat. "You'll give me wolf meat, to stop fighting you?"
Mila nodded with a gleeful expression. "Now Mila can follow Master's orders."
"Alright, but don't come near my children again!!" She turned her back to Mila.
As she was walking away, Mila hung from a branch she started walking past. Mila grabbed her hair and sniffed it. Reacting to this, the woman with bear like ears turned around with the intention to slam the back of her hand into Mila's body. A shockwave pushes the leaves off the tree Mila was on but Mila wasn't hit by the attack. Her eyes shift from left to right and Mila was on the other side of her body.
"Lady smells like bear babies." Mila commented.
The woman turned around again with her palm upturned. "GET AWAY FROM ME!!" The shockwave from her hand tears through the trees alike the sharpest of blades. Yet Mila was no where to be seen.
Once again on the other side of her, Mila pokes the bear lady in the face. "Is lady bear babies mommy?" Her head tilts with curiosity written all over her face.
"Grrrr what do you think goblin?" She responded aggressively.
"Mila sorry for trying to touch Lady's bear babies...Mila mean no harm..."
"I don't care....go awa...wait" She stopped and faced Mila. "You have a name?"
She nodded. "Yeah! Master named Mila!" Her eyes sparkled.
(This goblin was given a name? But only demon lords can do something like that.) She was confused by this woman's appearance. (Why would a Demon Lord name a goblin? Wait then why is she not full of herself? If she's actually a Demon Lord's servant then I should be dead by now. So who named her?)
"Is your master a Demon Lord perhaps?" The woman asked.
"Master is Master!!" She said in delight. "Master is so smart!! And awesome!! Master taught Mila how to fight and hunt!!"
(Definitely doesn't sound like a Demon Lord.) The lady thought. The more she heard about Mila's Master, the more she was befuddled by Mila's situation. (But if her master accepted a goblin....then would he accept me and my children?)
"Say....can you introduce me to this Master of yours?" Her curiosity peaked.
"Lady wants to meet Master?" She thought about it for a second.
(Of course she wouldn't bring me to him so easil-)
"Sure." Mila smiled. "Lady sounds like she knows a lot and Master loves learning!!"
(She's as easy as she looks.) The bear lady thought.
"And if Lady hurts Master, Mila kills lady!" She said this with a wide smile.
(And scarier than she looks.) She walked toward her children. "Let me bring my children."

Bloodshed crossed the land. The soil dyed with a crimson substance followed by corpses of green creatures and wolves with crystals dug into their skull.
"Ugh..." A larger being with verde skin leaned against a tree while holding its side. "Damn you....." Blood leaked through the cracks between its fingers. Aggression was drawn all over its face. Its brethren fell on the battlefield.
A group of five woman stood up to the beast with spears. Each woman had triangular markings on their thighs and biceps. Worn furred clothing from head to toe.
It grips the tree behind them and chucked the tree at mach 1 at the troop of women. They each avoid the tree by leaping out if the way. Coming down on the Ogre was a spear that stabbed through their frontal lobe. Immediate death, the Ogre fell over from the lethal attack. As it fell, the girl unsheathed her blade from their skull. "Subjugation complete."
Four more women appear in front of the combative group in the same attire. They kneeled before a woman with an orange triangle on her forehead. "Shotar, there are no hostiles in the area." They inform her.
"Then our mission is almost complete. Let us search for the reason why the Goblin Group irratically started a raid." Shotar spun her spear counter clockwise to force the blood off. The tip of her spear was drenched in a cyan hue before the dirt was carved into swiftly. "Meet back here in 1 hour. Report your findings then."
"Yes ma'am." The other women race off at high speeds.

The mana that entered his body was turned into Negative Energy within Dimitri. He sat against the wall while holding his stomach. "I think I ate too much meat." He gained a notification of his stats increasing.
