EN rushed at Shin, but he jumped in the air and punched him. Shin hurt EN with the blow but managed to block his next attacks.
When Shin got up, he stepped on EN's thigh and kneed him in the face.
Despite the attack, EN was unstoppable. While Shin was in the air, EN took his foot and slammed him to the ground.
Baxter panicked even more, and they used the emergency key to open the door. As they opened the door, Shin shouted from the ground, releasing a force that nearly knocked them over.
Shin stood up, and a red aura emanated from his body as he walked towards EN.
As Shin approached, EN rushed again, but Shin suddenly grabbed his face and slammed him against the wall.
EN was almost knocked out, but his spirit woke up and he backed away from Shin. At that moment, EN doubled his power, and his whole body lit up. Baxter tried to pull him away.
"What you are doing is dangerous! Your body may not be able to handle the Divine Power!"
However, EN didn't listen and continued to attack Shin. He rushed at Shin again and delivered a powerful blow to his face, causing him to splutter.
After the attack, EN was completely weakened, and Nihan and Baxter rushed to his aid.
"You're stupid, why did you do that?"
As Shin lay unconscious, something spoke to his mind.
"Child, you are very weak, but you have potential. Do you want to get stronger? You can borrow my power."
"Who are you?" Shin replied.
"No more questions. If you agree, I'll help you kill them all."
"I'm not a murderer!"
"Do you want to see your parents?"
"Huh? Do you know something? Where are they?!"
"Easy, kid. I'll help you find your parents as long as you agree to what I want."
Suddenly, the ground shakes, and they all look at Shin. Shin gets up from the ground and releases an even more powerful force.
EN was taken aback and attempted to stand up. "This can't be happening!"
Nihan intervened and tried to fight Shin. "Bring it on!"
Shin rushed towards Nihan, and with his incredible speed, he grabbed her face and was about to slam it against the wall.
Baxter stood up and used his divine power to create a defensive barrier. However, Shin's sheer force destroyed the barrier in an instant.
Without any hesitation, Shin rushed toward Baxter and punch him in the gut.
Shin was still not in his senses and a fit of rage, he clenched his fists tightly and grabbed EN with one hand.
After a few moments, Shin suddenly let go of EN and started to fight himself to wake up from the trance.
He screamed, trying to regain control of his senses, but eventually, he couldn't bear it anymore and fainted on the spot.
On the same day after the incident, Shin woke up in a room feeling a lot of pain. He tried to get up but couldn't. So, he lay down again and looked at the ceiling.
Suddenly, someone entered the room and said, "Oh hello, you're awake." The person put down the food and left in a hurry.
Shin called out, "Hold on."
The person turned around, and Shin asked, "You're also the staff who gave me food earlier, aren't you?"
"Yes, it's me. I'm going to leave," replied the staff nervously.
"Thank you for the food. I'm sorry I didn't eat what you brought earlier," Shin said.
The staff stopped and stared at him.
"Don't worry, I'll eat it. I haven't eaten in a while," Shin added.
He took the food and was about to pray. The staff was even more surprised and just looked at him. After Shin finished praying, he opened the food and said, "Let's eat!" to the staff.
The staff declined and quickly left the room, unable to understand what had happened.
Outside, the staff met Baxter, who was going to see Shin, and told him that Shin was awake. Baxter quickly ran to the room and opened the door.
When Shin was about to eat, Baxter suddenly entered the room.
"You're awake, Chris Valentine." Baxter showed the name tag he was holding that was torn from Shin's leg during their fight.
"That's not my name. My name is Cheon Shin," He replied.
"Cheon Shin? Maybe you should explain everything to me. I heard from Nihan that you know something about the Triumvirate," Baxter said.
They both stared at each other.
"Can I trust you?" Shin asked.
"Don't trust me, but I know you need my help," Baxter replied.
At that time, Shin told Baxter everything that happened to him.
"Does Nihan know about this?" Baxter asked.
"No,"
"Good. I'll help you with what you need, but you'll also help us. The Triumvirate is no joke. Now, if they find out that you're alive, they won't hesitate to eliminate you," Baxter explained.
Shin continued eating because he was very hungry. Baxter looked at him and smiled. As Baxter left the room, he forgot to say something.
"By the way, that's right! You have to disguise yourself, Mr. Chris Valentine,"
Shin stopped and spat out what he was eating, saying, "No!"
Baxter left the room laughing.
In the other room, EN is resting after an intense fight, and Nihan is with him, watching over him.
"Why are you still here? Haven't you received your payment yet?"
"Are you okay?" asked Nihan. "I know about what happened to you and why you hate the Damion," she added.
"You don't care about that. Besides, you left the Reverend a long time ago, so you shouldn't be here anymore. I don't know why Baxter is still hiring you," he replied.
"If it was you, you might have defeated the demon on the spot. That's why he called me. I don't know what Baxter needs from that demon, but that demon is acting strangely."
Baxter entered the room. "Oh? Am I bothering you two?"
He approached EN. "Rest and get ready, we need to act. And by the way, Shin will help us."
EN looked at Baxter and disagreed. "What? Are you crazy, old man?!"
"Watch your language, EN," Baxter warned.
Baxter approached EN on his bed.
"Listen, you know how strong our enemy is. You witnessed that when he was alive and defeated. And that's why we have this power because he gave it to us."
EN still doubted Shin. "Are you sure about that demon? That he won't betray us?"
"Yes, I'm sure. Besides, you saw how strong he is, so he's a big help to us."
Nihan stood up and looked at Baxter. "I'll help too."
"Oh, have you decided to come back to us?" Baxter asked.
"No, but something is bothering me about that demon," Nihan replied.
"Okay, but I don't have anything to pay you."
"No problem."
Baxter left the room and prepared for the upcoming battle.
