Vanguard is a group of exceptional individuals in Reverend trained to help society during times of crisis. The Vanguard has seven ranks. They are called Geniuses because they can do all the categories of Divine Power.
According to the Sacred Book, Divine Power is divided into three categories - Healer, Enhancer, and Weapon Manipulator.
Taejoon is one of the individuals who has the potential to become a part of Vanguard at rank 7.
Due to the tension between Taejoon and Shin, Sam observes their fight and thinks of a way to defeat Taejoon.
"Taejoon's mastery is 'Enhancer' and he is already at the advanced level. Shin needs to be careful," in Sam's thoughts. Sam was anxious, given Taejoon's abilities.
"Shin, be careful! Taejoon can increase his power and strength,"
Shin, however, didn't care about it. Taejoon charged toward Shin and tried to punch him in the head, but Shin easily dodged it by bending down, since Taejoon was much taller. Shin punched Taejoon in his gut, taking him by surprise.
Taejoon was hurt by Shin's punch, so he countered it with a downward punch, but Shin again dodged it. Shin saw an opening and punched Taejoon in the jaw and before he could recover, Shin again hit him in his jaw.
"Unbelievable!" Sam was amazed by Shin's moves. But Sam knew that Taejoon was still a formidable opponent, and he was on edge, waiting for Taejoon to make a move.
Taejoon tried to strike Shin with a hook punch, but Shin jumped away and avoided it. In a swift move, Shin ran towards Taejoon and he jumped. After that, he grabbed Taejoon's shoulder, propelling himself into the air. And while in the air, he landed a kick in the back of Taejoon's head. While Taejoon was distracted, Shin struck him with a head and arm triangle choke from behind.
Taejoon tried to escape and became angry. He released the Divine Power and made the wind blow so strong that smoke and dust surrounded them. The demon inside Taejoon's body speaks, "Hahaha! This body is good."
Taejoon grows even taller, and his muscles expand as he screams. Sam warned Shin. "This is what I'm worried about. Shin! Take care, don't worry, and help will come soon"
Taejoon charged toward Shin again with great speed. Shin didn't see it, and Taejoon punched him in the gut, causing him to bend down. While in that position, Taejoon hit him in the head with his knees, causing Shin to fly away, and while Shin was in the air, Taejoon ran and grabbed Shin's face and slammed it into the ground.
The demon inside Taejoon's body laughed loudly.
However, Shin surprised everyone by double-kicking Taejoon in the gut while lying down.
Shin stood up, but Taejoon's attack was so strong that he received a wound on his head. However, Shin's white aura ability caused the wound to heal.
As Taejoon got up, Kilian and Baxter came to help Shin and Taejoon summoned a large Battle Axe.
Sam quickly planned a strategy, "Oh no. Leader, we need to move fast. Protect Shin from his attack with your Divine Shield, and Kilian, since you are also an Advanced Enhancer, hold him while he is distracted."
Just as Taejoon was about to hit Shin with the Battle Axe, Baxter summoned a thick Divine Shield to block it.
"Shin, leave now. We'll take care of it." Baxter said.
"No, I have to remove the demon from his body," replied Shin.
Killian tried to enhance his body to be Taejoon's size and ran behind him. He tried to pull Taejoon out, but he didn't even move.
Taejoon struck again and he broke the Divine Shield. Baxter and Killian were thrown back by the force of the blow.
Baxter fainted, and Shin helped him and tried to heal him. Meanwhile, Taejoon and Killian continued their fight. Killian healed his wound in a few minutes.
"Killian, try to hit his vital points, and since he's so big now, hit his feet first." Sam directed Killian.
Killian stood up and walked towards Taejoon.
"I don't want to do this Taejoon, but you're forcing me," he said with an angry face.
Since Killian's mastery is a Weapon Manipulator, he summoned a Shield and a Double-Edge Sword. But Taejoon released all his power and surpassed his limit, making the situation more dangerous.
"This is not good. Taejoon might not be able to handle the Divine Power anymore. Killian, you need to finish this quickly!" said Sam.
"I know!" Killian replied.
They rushed at each other. Taejon struck Killian with his axe and Killian's shield blocked it but the force of the blow made Killian fall back. Killian then ran and jumped high to hit Taejoon with his sword, but Taejoon's speed was too quick. He suddenly appeared behind Killian and punched him, causing him to hit the floor. From the air, Taejoon followed up with a knee to his back.
As Killian lay down, Taejoon grabbed his shoulder to make him face him. Taejoon unsummoned his weapon and enhanced his fist to punch Killian repeatedly, causing him to lose consciousness.
Taejon summoned his weapon again and enhanced it double. When he was about to strike, Shin suddenly appeared at high speed and blocked him with his gauntlet.
Shin glared at Taejon and punched him in the chin, sending him flying away.
Sam was shocked to see that Shin was also an Enhancer. "What? Shin can also enhance himself. No, not only himself, he can also enhance his weapon, so he is also an Advanced Enhancer?"
Shin lifted Killian to Baxter's side and Rhona arrived to help them both.
Rhona quickly healed Baxter, Killian, and the other students. She was surprised to see Shin with a white aura for the first time.
Shin walked towards Taejoon, and suddenly, he was emitting a red aura again.
"Sh*t! If Shin snaps, it will be a big problem." Sam was worried.
Taejoon suddenly was acting strangely. A black soul appeared in his chest and tried to leave his body. Taejoon screamed and tried to fight the demon from his body.
Shin approached Taejoon and pulled the black soul into his chest. The soul screamed so loud that it was deafening.
Shin released the soul and went to his chest, where his necklace was hidden in his clothes. After that Taejoon lost consciousness and Rhona helped him. His wounds disappeared for a few seconds, but he still didn't wake up.
Everyone approached Taejoon.
"He's still not breathing," Rhona said.
"It's our fault," Loyd said, he was nervous because Taejoon might not wake up.
Shin suddenly approached Taejoon. He put his hand on Taejoon's chest and prayed. After a while, Shin's hand became bright white. And suddenly, Taejoon woke up. Everyone shouted for joy when they saw Taejoon.
"Taejoon!"
Loyd and his classmates apologized to Taejoon after the incident, and Taejoon did the same. As a result, both parties were suspended. Taejoon went through an observation and examination process.
In the meantime, the Lugh brothers observed the incident from a distance and saw Shin.
"Haha, look at that demon, he's also a Genius. What are your thoughts brother Fergus?" Amoneth said.

In Sam's office, Shin and Sam were having a conversation. Sam was amazed at what Shin did and exclaimed, "Shin, you're a genius!" Sam couldn't believe what Shin had accomplished.
Shin was confused and thought, "A genius? My grades were only average when I was studying. How did I become a genius?" in his mind.
"Unbelievable!, you can do the three powers written in the book, and the amazing thing is that you only read it for a while but learned it immediately". Sam explained.
"If you would give me permission, I would like to read the book completely to learn more about Divine Power,"
"Sure! But first I need permission from the professors and the Vanguard about this."
Rhona suddenly entered the room and exclaimed excitedly, "Shin!"
Sam got annoyed and said, "Oi Ms. Rhona, can you learn to knock please?"
Rhona ignored him and went straight to Shin, holding both of Shin's shoulders, and exclaimed, "Shin! You're a genius!"
Sam got annoyed and said, "I already said that earlier."
"How did you do that? You have to teach me that" Rhona asked.
"I don't know how I did it, all I know is that I want him to get well" Shin replied.
"Hmp! If you don't want to teach me, I will make you my assistant!"
"Hey Rhona! Stop what you're saying." Sam stopped Rhona.
"No, starting tomorrow, you will be my assistant" Rhona ordered Shin.
But Shin refused it.
"I'm sorry but I can't do what you want"
"Why?"
"I need to get stronger and after that, I will find my parents"
Rhona and Sam were surprised at what Shin said.
"Parents?"
Shin quickly tried to change the topic and said,
"Ah nothing, I'm just wondering where my parents are."
Rhona and Sam laughed at what Shin said.
