In the depths of the Dark Forest, a place that no cultivator below the nascent soul would dare to explore, a 3-meter-long beetle was moving around. Its body was pitch black, with two huge and sharp horns at the top of its head, acting like pincers that could break the bones of any normal beast.
The huge beetle scanned the surroundings like a predator, looking for prey. With every step, deep pits formed from the immense power the beetle exerted on the strong Qi-imbued ground of the Dark Forest.
It's hard to comprehend how powerful such a Hercules beetle of this size could be. With such size, it would weigh approximately 50 kgs. For a Hercules beetle, this size would grant it almost divine strength, with its innate ability to lift its body weight by 860 times in perfect conditions. Even if it could only generate 40% of that in the real world, the amount of power is something no other normal beast could match.
The power to generate 7 tons of strength at its size would make it an absolute apex predator in almost every other place that normal beasts lived in. But even with this amount of strength in the Dark Forest, it was just another stronger mortal beast that couldn't even resist a second against the weakest Magical beast of the first order.
"Hmm, that's a strange-looking horse."
As I was moving inside the forest, I came across a Big Brown horse, approximately 5 meters in height. Its size was indeed huge, but its two heads were the thing that attracted my attention the most.
The horse heads were eating some strange-looking plants. The plants were of varying colors; some were blue, some red, and some even purple, which made them look extremely poisonous. But for some reason, the two-headed horse seemed to be really enjoying those plants. So much so that its eyes were constantly changing colors from white to red.
Most likely, the horse was poisoned and was going crazy right now since it was constantly making some kind of strange dances, constantly creating tremors around, scaring many animals in the surroundings, which was the reason I had stopped to take a look.
But now that I had satisfied my curiosity and had enough of the crazy two-headed dancing horse, it was time to continue moving since I still had to find good prey for today.
As I was about to turn around and get away from the crazy horse, one of the horse's heads noticed me between the green foliage. Since my body was pitch black, hiding when it was bright outside was quite hard.
And upon noticing me, the first horse head stopped, and soon, the other head of the horse stopped eating as well they both looked at me with theyer four crazy eyes that changed colors constantly.
Its crazy look and intimidating height made me decide to slowly retreat, fully alert, and ready to take action at any time.
The tension in the air steadily rose, and the horse was clearly very enraged at me for some strange reason. It looked at me as though I was about to steal its most precious possession. Its body moved, shielding the strange plants behind it, like I was about to steal them.
Seeing that the horse was getting the wrong idea, I decided to move faster, trying to get away from the horse as fast as possible. I really didn't want to fight with this big horse since it wouldn't bring me anything. Clearly, this horse was poisoned, which made it impossible for me to try and eat. I had noticed that the food I eat won't immediately be turned into energy since my heavenly devouring ability takes time to activate, and in that time, I could easily die from poison.
So this big horse wasn't a meal I was willing to accept. Plus, I didn't know if I could win against it since I hadn't tested my new strength yet.
But the crazy horse clearly wasn't about to let me leave in peace. Upon noticing me backing away, it immediately got enraged and without a moment of hesitation, it charged at me with its massive body. Its speed was something I hadn't expected from such a huge beast. Before I could even try to dodge, its two ugly heads were in front of me, casting a deep shadow onto me. Raising its two hooves far above, it dropped them with frightening speed and power, trying to crush me like a weak insect.
This enraged me. I had grown many times stronger and had survived many encounters with death, but this crazy horse still saw me like an average insect, trying to step on me and hurt the confidence I had barely developed from my increasing size and strength.
So, with anger burning in my heart, I lifted my horns high, aiming them at the approaching horse hooves. With a loud crash followed by a brutal breaking sound, I sent the huge horse flying into the air like a small kitten.
This was a sight that left me deeply shocked. Like a slow-mo video, I looked at the flying horse spinning into the air; its two legs were now bent to the extreme, looking very miserable.
"What the heck! Since when did I become this strong?!"
