As the group continued their picnic, Göran shared a story from his trip to Vietnam with his family. He explained how they had trouble finding good accommodations in Hanoi, and ended up staying in a run-down room that was infested with pests.
Sophia asked if they encountered any ghosts, to which Göran replied that they saw something even worse - geckos. He showed his friends pictures of the Tokay geckos that had taken over their room, and the girls made disgusted faces.
Lena asked, "Why do they look so creepy?"
Göran explained, "They're just ugly in appearance, but some people actually like to raise them as pets."
Wilhelm chimed in, "I've never seen a gecko in Bangkok, only lizards. But my dad told me that if we went out to the countryside, we might see some geckos there."
Sebastian asked, "Are they dangerous or anything?"
Göran shook his head, "No, they're harmless. They just eat insects and pests like rats and cockroaches. But I have to admit, it was pretty creepy having them crawling around our room."
