Wilhelm was curious about the traditional Norwegian Bunad outfit and asked his mother if she had ever worn one on National Day. Inger smiled and replied, "Yes, when I was a child, my parents made me wear a Bunad every year on Norway's National Day. Even when you were 3 years old and we visited your grandparents in Norway, I made you wear the boy's Bunad outfit for National Day."
Wilhelm was surprised, "Really? I don't remember that at all."
Inger chuckled, "Of course not, you were only 3 years old. But I have a photo of you wearing it. You were so cute!"
Wilhelm looked at the photo and smiled sheepishly. He had no memory of wearing a Bunad, but he was proud of his Norwegian heritage and the traditional clothing that went along with it.
"I didn't know that the Norwegian Bunad outfit was different from the Swedish one," Wilhelm said.
Inger nodded, "Yes, every country has its own unique traditional clothing. It's a way to celebrate our heritage and honor our ancestors."
Wilhelm felt a sense of pride in his Scandinavian heritage and was looking forward to celebrating Sweden's National Day, which was only a week away. He couldn't wait to see all the traditional clothing and festivities that would take place.
