Allen's fiancée sat gazing at his face as his daughter's mother had already fueled his anger, and now this wealthy, arrogant woman had approached him as well.
"Have you not realized that I'm still waiting for you to make time for us to have lunch?" Lenora inquired.
Allen lifted his head from the computer he was working on. His eyes exuded a cold intensity, causing Lenora to briefly question if she could handle a man like him as her husband.
"You're still here? I expect you to behave like a proper woman and comprehend a simple explanation," Allen asserted.
Lenora was bewildered. What kind of man was Allen? How could he speak to her in such a manner? Did he have no respect for her?
"Allen, we are engaged. What's wrong with me inviting you for lunch? Since you didn't take the initiative, I did it to try to get closer to you," Lenora expressed with a tinge of sadness.
