Aurora was filled with wonder by the stunning adornments in the living room. The cushions were of exceptional beauty, and the marble floor was unlike any she had encountered before.
"Allen..." Claire's voice trailed off as she caught sight of the little girl and instantly remembered her. It was the same child she had noticed a few days earlier at the amusement park.
"This young girl..." She pivoted swiftly and beckoned her husband, who was already seated in the dining room.
"Francis, could you come here, please?" she called, and her husband complied. He was taken aback when he laid eyes on the little girl. Turning to look at his wife, they both fixed their gaze on the child once more.
