"Damn it! You startled me," Kane said, as he turned and saw the lady he was on phone with standing behind him.
"So, you're trying to avoid me huh?"she asked, wondering.
"No- no, why will I do such," Kane responded, trying to put himself together.
"Why did you lie to me then?" she asked, staring at him.
"I didn't lie to you. I have something urgent to attend to," Kane said.
"What exactly do you have to do so urgently?" she asked, rolling her eyes.
"That's none of your business. It's a personal thing," Kane said, looking away.
"I guess your boss abandoned you again, huh?" she asked, wondering.
"Don't say that," Kane said.
"I knew it! You need help again," she said, and chuckled awkwardly.
"Please I need to get going," he said, looking at her.
