"Hmm! You know what? Why don't you go home now and get some good sleep? We wil meet tomorrow and talk about this in a better way," Kane suggested, as they were still at the bar.
"I said it. I knew you were going to abandon me after hearing my story," she said, and began crying. As she expected more from Kane.
"No. Don't say that okay. Am not abandoning you okay, just that there's somewhere I need to be now before it gets late," he said.
"You're lying to me. Please don't leave me," she pleaded.
"Waiter!" Kane called.
"What are you doing?" she asked, wondering.
"I want to pay the bill," Kane responded.
"Don't worry, I will pay the bill. Look, I have a lot of money saved okay, I just need someone to stand by me," she said, looking at Kane.
"Have this," Kane said to the waiter, as he handed some cash to him.
"Get up!" he said to her.
"Huh? Where are we going?" she asked, wondering.
