CHAPTER 46: WRONG APPROACH.
"So, what do you want to do concerning your mom and her husband?" Kane asked Jessica, as they were still at the bar.
"I need to focus more of getting my normal life back, before thinking of what to do," Jessica responded.
"That's good. You haven't taken anything yet. Why don't you order anything you want? It could be alcohol or anything," Kane suggested, seeing how frustrated she was looking without taking her usuals.
"Am good. I took some water before you came," she informed.
"It's okay. So, how do you intend quitting what you've been doing for years now?" Kane asked, wondering. Knowing that it usually hard for such people to disengage themselves from such life.
"I will do my best, as I had already promised myself never to go back to my old life," Jessica said, looking at Kane.
"Hmm. That's impressive. So, what you will do now is, look for a job, and get busy with your days," Kane suggested.
