"Stella's point of view,"
"What happened? Stella, why have you come to meet me suddenly? Is everything fine?" Daniel's uncle asked, seeing me.
I was examining his expression to determine if he was genuinely concerned about me or just putting on an act, as he often does.
"Uncle, I need your help," I spoke apprehensively.
"Stella, please let me know what type of help you require. Since my darling child has asked for my help for the first time, I will assist you in every manner I can." He motioned for me to take a seat on the couch.
"Uncle, I need your financial help to prevent the Parker Industry from going bankrupt," I muttered while fidgeting.
"Stella, you know fully that I must get your aunt's approval before making any financial decisions. Therefore, I believe I will summon Lily here so you can talk to her about your issues." After giving it some thought, he responded to me.
Why would a rapacious woman like Lily Aunty assist me? Should I continue to count on Uncle for any sort of help? What would occur if I tried? I could see the logic in my subconscious.
"Okay, Uncle, you can also call Lily Aunty."
"Stella, my beautiful child, I finally got to meet you after so many days." Aunt Lily arrived in front of us as soon as Daniel's uncle summoned her.
I'm not sure why, but I had the impression that she was waiting to hear her name just outside the hallway when I saw her. I don't know why she talks so senselessly; she met me two days ago, after all. Seeing her faux affection makes me feel constrained.
You try to restrain your rage a little because you came here to ask for this lady's help; if you act even slightly impolitely toward her, she will undoubtedly decline to assist you. I'm getting a lot of advice from my subconscious today.
Are you prepared to perform a drama with Lily Aunty? I questioned my subconscious.
Yes, you just keep a big phony smile on your face and let me handle the rest. Again, my subconscious gave me advice.
"Aunty, it's not just you; I've missed you a lot," I murmured, embracing the aunt in front of me.
"Stella, please explain your sudden arrival;" perhaps I reacted too strongly. My tight hug was making it impossible for poor Lily Aunty to breathe.
I nervously murmured, "Oh, sorry," releasing her from my embrace. "Aunt, I need to borrow some money," I explained the situation to her after her breathing returned to normal.
"Loan? Why are you requesting a loan from us if you do not regard us as your own?"
"Yes, of course, I have spent a lot of time attempting to explain this to Stella." Daniel's uncle concurred with his wife right away.
I don't remember when Uncle Daniel spoke to me like that, and I'm wondering if my ear has stopped working correctly or if I have amnesia.
"How much money do you need, Stella?" Lily Aunty enquired while getting money out of her purse.
What a big heart my darling aunt has. What does she think I'm a teen in high school who needs money to go out with her friends. I'm struggling to keep my wrath under control, but Lily Aunty's antics are making it harder for me to do so.
"Aunty, I require a sizable sum of money to prevent the bankruptcy of my business." I clearly explained my position to her.
"Well, if such a circumstance arises, I will unquestionably assist you, but there is one condition." Aunt stated as she was putting her money back in her purse.
"Term?" I gave her a confused expression as I regarded her.
"Stella, you must get married to my son for my paying whatever it takes to save your business from going bankrupt."
"What?" I really couldn't believe what I was hearing.
"Yes, Stella, my son David adores you, and you will not find a greater life partner than my son. You will gain from embracing my condition in every manner, including getting back your company and your life partner like David." She declared with great enthusiasm.
Lily Aunty must be completely insane if she thinks I'll marry her rude, inept, and lackadaisical son. All of these results from that haughty Ethan Woods. There has been a storm in my life ever since he entered it. I wouldn't have played against Ethan if I had even the tiniest notion that he was playing a game as Flaming Shark.
That unfortunate person would not have suffered any ego damage by losing to me, at least.
After all, my dad worked extremely hard to stabilize this company; I can't bear to see it destroyed in this way.
"Stella, what are you pondering? Tell me what you thought of my proposal." Aunty was gazing at my face with curiosity.
"Aunty, give me some time to consider this." I clenched my fist firmly and attempted to contain the roiling rage inside of me.
"Stella, why do you wish to take the time to consider such a nice offer when you know fully that no bank will grant you a loan for such a sizable sum without a solid guarantee, but I can grant you such a large amount with no guarantee? I'm prepared to pay a large sum. I am also prepared to entrust you with my son."
Aunty began outlining the benefits of her proposal to me.
Huh...Priceless? Really?
David has no value, but Aunty thinks he is precious.
"Auntie, I appreciate you giving me a helping hand, but before I decide, I want to weigh all the factors carefully." As I stood up from the couch, I said.
"I will patiently await your reply whenever you deem it appropriate." Aunty reached out her hand to shake mine like an experienced businesswoman.
"Yes, I'll let you know the outcome shortly." As we shook hands, I said.
"I have to go now since I have a crucial meeting to attend," I said to Daniel uncle after checking my wristwatch for the time.
"Stella, please take care of yourself." Uncle has once again shown his phony care for me.
"I would have canceled my party schedule for tonight if you had let me know earlier that you were going to come home today." When I walked out of my uncle's mention and headed for my car, I heard David's voice and immediately halted.
"Why? Did you want my high heels to cause your feet pain once more?" I responded to his query in a furious tone.
"Why do you constantly seem so irate?" He asked, obstructing my path, "What is your issue with me?"
"David, are you sure you want me to respond to that query?" This idiot's nonsense-talking makes my already extreme annoyance worse.
"Before I hit your main part and force you out of the way, David, you best get out of my way," I yelled at him.
"Okay, I'll let you go for the time being. However, the next time, I won't let you go as easily." Biting his thumb, he uttered.
"Please, God, spare me from having to deal with all the insane males in the world," I yelled, gazing up at the sky.
