Chapter 44: cousin.
The child in front of me , is my cousin by blood. Looking at him right now , I think he might be one of the reasons why the company lost its touch. Maybe that's the reason why the company got itself on the dirt. I pity him for his foolishness.
"Hey are you deaf or something?!" he looked at me with a glare and said while gritting his teeth," I am asking why are you here?"
"Did your mom ran out of money?" with a grin on his face , he said to me , trying to provoke me. I looked at the other so-called cousins of mine and saw that they were also looking at me with a grin on their face.
"You think you are some short of hot shot! Then you are wrong. You are nothing. Absolutely nothing. You are the son of a woman who ran away with a man who is also nothing of worth."
He changed at me , with the intention to punch me. In my position, if it was Akeshi or ming , then they would have either hit him in the face in a way that would make him unrecognizable. But I am not them.
I let him punch me , making me fall on the ground. I looked around to see that they actually didn't have any sort of Camara with them but instead at the corner of the room ,in a flower base there was a cane camera. It was looking at us. It was so small that no one would be able to notice it , unless they are used to doing so. If someone was good at noticing this kind of stuff or have done this several time then it wouldn't be a problem for them.
And that's where I come.
As a person who is used to this kind of tricks, I must say I am an expert in this kind of handy work.
'Can't show them that I am weak.'
Thinking that I got up from the ground and looked at the boy in front of me who was glaring at me with a smirk on his face.
He thinks that he can do anything to me , well unfortunately I am the type of guy who gives what he gets.
So I gave him a return gift.
"Kugh!"
He fell on the ground while holding his stomach. I got on one of my knees and grabbed him by his hair.
Looking at him , dead in the eye I gave him the sweetest smile I could muster.
"Please remember that we are cousin." I emphasized the word cousin for certain reasons, "So fighting amongst us is natural but please be careful because I am the type of person who goes 'eye for a eye and tooth for a tooth...' " I increased the grip on his hair more and pulled him close to me , "Am I clear?"
He nodded his head several times. I decided that it might have been too much for a kid of this age. So I helped him get up and cleaned his clothes.
I glaced at the other cousins of mine and saw their face filled with fear as they were sweating while standing still. No movements were being made. They were also slightly shaking. For some reason I was feeling two different emotions.
They are satisfaction and the other is anger. I was satisfied while looking at the reaction but I was angry at myself. Thinking that I had let myself do thinks in the old fashion way. I had already told myself that I will not do it like that , yet here I am. Going against my own words.
*Clap! Clap! Clap!*
I looked at the source of the sound saw a boy , slightly older than the current me , clapping his hands while walking inside.
His dyed red hair blazed like a living flame as it covered a part of his face.His well-groomed beard added a rugged, mature edge to his strikingly handsome face.
He was dressed in an impeccably tailored tuxedo, paired with navy blue gabardine pants that highlighted his strong, athletic build. The combination of the formal attire with his fiery hair created a striking contrast.
His eyes were a mesmerizing shade of blue, like the depths of a pristine ocean.
"Now now let's not make a scene. We will be called to eat in a few minutes , so make sure you are ready." He said as he approached me.
This guy who just approached me is Ichigo ritsuka. The eldest cousin of mine and the only one I think I can trust. He is a man of his words. He might not look like it but he is indeed someone who can hold his ground against any challenges.
In the future , he was asked to lead the company but he refused , saying that he wasn't the right guy , also adding that he hates the old timer system that my grandfather has.
Although I can tell why he hates it though.
Those who are actually talented will be overtaken by those who aren't because they were in the line of inheritance.
"Now make sure you guys change what youa re wearing. Especially you Ren, " he points his finger at me ,"You need to change and take a shower because you might have some sweat on you. It is disgraceful for someone like you to be walking around in that condition."
He then glaced at my other cousin whom I just thought some lesson. He met eyes with him and said , with his voice filled with coldness.
"Make sure to wash yourself, " he begins , "I don't think anyone would welcome you."
He turned around and held my shoulder and leaned towards my ear and said in a whispering tone , "You did good defending yourself but make sure to not go overload."
He walked away of the room while weaving his hand in the air.
After he left so did I.
Oh right it almost slipped on my mind that he is also the captain of the Japanese national football team. He is also the reason why Japan won the AFC Asian cup.
