Chapter 18: The ugly truth.
Amanika Koji. The 5th hair of the amanika electronics. Also a person who made the company grow into a power house compared to the other successors.
The other successors and he was different in some aspect. Such as empathy and sympathy. He didn't have them for anyone else other than his family. He would mercilessly kick someone out from the company if they made a mistake.
He hated betrayal. He would not close his eyes and say nothing if someone did something like betray his company. He was known as 「Expressionless king 」.
He is said to be quite cold towards all. But if you work hard then you will be rewarded. He was also involved in political affair. But got out of it when he met Amanika Rukia , his wife whom he loved the most.
Being forced to do many things in his life and being unable to chose his life path , he grew quite distant compared to other kids in his age or other man in his age. But then he met Chabashira Rukia , who started to talk with him despite the cold shoulder he gave to her when they first met.
[A/N: Chabashira was Rukias last name before she was married to Koji.]
She was like a rain in his clay soil , cold wind in his hot summer , a strong tree in his weak dirt which made possible of him not losing himself. But when he wanted to marry her his parents told him to either leave WITH Rukia or stay WITHOUT Rukia. He chose the first option.
It was hard for them to spend their day as they had to eat 1 time a day. But through hard work they finally were able to get themselves home , food for 3 times a day , comfortable bed. And then came Miko and Nino lighting up their world with the sweet smile of theirs.
Miko grew up to be a mature lady-like girl and as for Nino she grew up to be a child-like girl. But their parents didn't care about it in the slightest. They were more than happy with what they had.
One day Miko met her grandfather but she didn't know that it was her grandfather but her grandfather knew it was his granddaughter. Seeing Miko's upbringing he started to think whether what he did was right or wrong , doubting his decision years ago.
The fate played it's part and let him meet with Rukia , who was a senior lawyer at that time. Seeing her father-in-law she was unable to think straight but she knew that irrational thinking is not getting her anywhere, so she barely calmed herself down.
God knows how but the whole family met up with each other for a certain event where Miko was going to give a speech. No matter how hard his heart was , he made sure to record it because it was his granddaughter.
His wife told him to meet with them but he was set on stone that he will not meet with them. But Miko knew something needed to be done so with that little head of hers she made a strategy. She told her parents about where her grandfather and grandmother will meet with each other and told them to let her– let Miko talk with them.
They thought Miko might have requested Amanika tatsuya , Miko's grandfather but in reality she gaslighted him. Tatsuya knew that he was being gaslighted but he enjoyed this. Seeing this playful conversation of one party trying to gaslight other and the other enjoying it , Amanika Ichika, Miko's grandmother just laughed and kept a video for memory.
And that's how they become a happy family.
At the current moment, Amanika Koji was on his laptop fixing some files on his computer when he got a call from his daughters number.
He picked it up and placed it on his ear but before he could begin to talk the voice from the other side started to talk.

"Wait who are yo-!" before he can continue his caller cuts the call. He trys contacting his brother but a text comes.

After telling him about the situation, the two brothers have taken off to collect Nino.

Amanika Rukia. A daughter from a poor family. She used to live in the worst place to live in : slums.
So she is aware of the pain people feel so she has always been sensitive towards people who's eyes told tale– a story of pain and misery. She would try her best to help others. "But good is always taunted by evil." This is her motto.
When she was still lin high school she tried helping someone who liked like she needed help but it revealed to be a prank. She was a goodie two shoes. So she would help her friends. But she didn't know they were talking behind her back.
When she was walking towards the teachers where her teacher called her she hears her so-called friends taking at her back saying. Calling her names.
It hurt her. But it didn't stop her from doing good. It just made her sharp. She tried seeing through people and after trying for years she was able to successfully do it.
Her goal was to be a lawyer so that she could give punishment to those who deserve it. So she tried her best but sometimes she was unable to bring justice. She met Koji when they were sitting on a bar for some drinks. She saw pain , sorrow and isolation in his eyes and wanted to help and slowly grew feelings for him and finally after years of staying together she confessed to him and he agreed.
Then came the challenge to get her in laws on her side and through hard work but not from herself but from her 7 year old girl , the two families were able to come together.
Now currently she was taking care of some files. As the years passed she was able to improve her eye and was able to see through anyone she wanted. From where they placed their finger tips , how they sit , how they hold their mug , the way they drink or talk , these things were able to give away the intentions quite well.
And she raised her daughter so seeing her change of behavior she was determined that her daughter fell in love . It was honestly cute.
'Hm..I should take this case...' she thought as she saw the file that belonged to a business man named Clark Luthor. The two of them were quite close.

Her phone starter to ring and she picked it up. It was her daughter so obviously she would pick it up. She was wondering what stories her daughter would tell her. She really enjoyed this time of the day. But unfortunately this wasn't what she was thinking.

"Hey who are yo-!?" Before she can say something.
"....Ummm mam..there is some files that needs to be chek-what!" a woman in black clad suit and white pegged pants , a pair of honey brown eyes covered by square low bridge glasses , long silky silver hair with a fair skin.
"I will see them later! Take care of these matters in my stade Maki!" she said to the girl known as maki.
"As your PA I will!" she said with a salute.

She ran outside and get into a car and took off for the destination.
'..What happened to make her to make her this anxious...?'

After arriving at the destination Koji met with the most unexpected person he would imagine to meet. His wife Rukia.
The same can be said with Rukia as well.
Both of them wanted to sort things out by themselves and
didn't wanted each other to get involved in this mess. Both of them wanted to finish the job and take Nino and then explain the situation while sugarcoating it. That was the original thought of both of them.
Kojis brother , Amanika Iruma , who works at intelligence bureau , is well knowledgeable about this things where they kidnap the victim and ask money from the victim's guardian's.
Now it's his turn to face these type of situation. Nino was like a daughter to him. His son emiya and Nino would play with each other . It was a nice view to him and his wife , Amanika Suzuki who would sit under the shade of a tree and make some snack for the two kids.
During the time when Koji and Rukia were thrown out of the family , iruma would help them both financially and with his connection as he already was in the bureau but on a lower position. That's why the first person whom Koji wanted to call other than his wife is iruma.
Miyamoto also comes out of the car.
Before coming here Koji and iruma saw miyamoto on the road. Seeing him unconscious they tried waking him up by splashing some water on his face and we're able to wake him up.
The first thing he did was looking around in search of Nino. And then he saw someone whom he didn't know he would see here. And then something clicked inside him and he looked down , his eyes being covered by his bangs.
"Where is our daughter?!" came from a desperate mother.
"Oh..your daughter," his goon's takes Nino out of the car and handed her over to the leader and he pushes her on the ground making her hand and legs be badly brushed.
Without wasting a second,Rukia ran towards her daughter and picked her up.
"Are you okey?! Did anything happen to you?! What happened?! What's up with you?! Whwyt aren't you speaking?!" tears started falling from her eyes , words stuck in her Throttle , unable to take out the word that she wants to say. She just hugs her daughter, feeling pleased on the fact that her daughter was on her hand.
"....*sigh*..here's you money." Koji throws the money towards the gang leader who catches it easily.
"Now tell us what you did to her?!" was asked by iruma who glared at him,"TELL US AQUA!!!" he yelled , causing aqua to hold his ears.
"Fucking damn it! Shut up. You will find out all on your own!"
He walks away and iruma didn't do anything which created question and a conclusion on Rukias head.
"..Wait don't tell me that all...of this...was your act....?!" her face morphed into a crazy smile,"Yeah you did it right?! RIGHT?!"
"*Sigh* that guy was a [source] user so there is nothing he can do. The bullet wouldn't work , the judicial system wouldn't do shit...which is why.....iruma didn't do anything...so calm down...." Koji gave the explanation which made Rukia calm her mind slightly. She takes her daughter in her car,"I will go alone...bye..." she takes off , leaving the two man in dust.
"So...you know should we call Miko and tell her this ugly truth....?"iruma asked with uncertainty on his face.
"...Let's not have her in the dark.." he said and walked away. His face never changing in the entire time.
'He is still like this... emotionless....huh..' he takes his phone out , unlocks it and searches Miko's number and when he found it he was about to call her but his finger stopped working.

His breathing became unstable, thinking of what might Miko's face be when she is given this information. He gathers up her courage up and...
Finally calls her.
