Turns out that I am the only one in the class that hasn't been in the forest more than just the one time. Everyone else has gone in for other classes and is now comfortable in entering the forest. All having their own way of making their way through it. Professor Lonna said that I would collect materials next to her. She wouldn't be helping me out, so if I pick the wrong thing, that's my mistake to learn.
Things in my other classes have been progressing as well. I could use basic spells and runes. That was the one bright side of doing all of this. In my runes class, the teacher was kind. They told us all about the changes that a person could expect when mixing runes. Whether it be full failure to full success. Runes were not the set in stone magic that I thought it would be. With one wrong line or letter, everything fell apart. I struggled with it. The runes not listening to me or cast the magic I wanted.
