Aoi the leader of the bravery division would be laying down on the sand and staring up at the sky.. His thoughts would have wandered as he had suddenly now had a serious responsibility put on him, to lead in the king's absence. Suddenly the sight of the sun on the gleaming bright sunny day would be interrupted and darkness ensued his vision from a dangling foot over his head. He would groan and move it away only to see the smiling face of Choi, the leader of the kindness division staring down at him and snickering, pulling him right up from the sand, putting him to his feet. Now standing up the vision of his would now be staring over the beautiful shining ocean from the reflection of the sun, although it was winter they were able to get out quite early on the unusually sunny day.
When he was stood up the rest of the leaders of the soul divisions would jeer at him. "Oh look, our 'king' has finally gotten up." It was all in playful banter, they were told to take a day to relax before they got into any serious business, and so that is exactly what they would do, but with the stressful position that Aoi was in he couldn't find himself to take it so easy, and that was showed on his countenance as he turned and looked over back at everyone. Asashi the leader of the perseverance division would give a little smile towards him, it was not quite as endearing as Aoi as she was a far more tough looking woman, but the gesture was there. She got up from her beach chair and wandered over to him with a little pep in her step giving him a pat on the back, she hit quite hard. "Cmon lighten up Aoi, why don't you get in the water. We all know you're gonna do great, we all are. Besides it will only be for some time if they all get back kay, but if you really fear somethings gonna happen I can protect youuu~" she would speak in a slightly playful tone as she shoved him closer off to the water. And with a slow response Aoi nervously responded with "fine.." And thus all of the leaders would have gotten into the water and simply had a grand old time with much splashing of water and many fights, even a gigantic tidal wave from one of these which quickly had to be stopped or bad things would have happened. The experience did get Aoi to lighten up on the situation that he knew he would find himself in, he just had to trust all of them and himself to get through it. They remained in the water for some time before it eventually got too cold.
Now they would preside over at the house of the king and queen which they were allowed to stay in within their absence which was quite awesome to all of them due to its size especially compared to their own homes. And alas, to continue on with their fun day for now, they would have collectively decided that they wanted something to eat, and that something would be pizza, a lot, a lot of pizza with a few other things to go with it. And then there would be an interesting event that evolved, an eating contest between Keta of the patience division and the leader of the justice division Clove, judged by Himari of the integrity division. And they would go and go, but alas due to the more patient and slow eating of Keta they would end up eating more than Clove who started to feel sick from eating so fast and fell out of his seat. And they all let out a laugh for their one good old day by themselves, but they could only have that one day to them, once the night ended they all would go to sleep.
And the next day they would have all risen from their slumber with a heavy workload ahead of them, but one thing that relieved them all was that they had not been attacked yet and hopefully they would not for quite some time. Though for the most part Aoi would have to have quite some trouble taking up his new role as temporary leader along with Choi, but she was seemingly way less worried about it at least outwardly, she always had a big smile on her face. While the rest of the military leaders wished them luck and left for their own works. Aoi and Choi traveled over towards the more official building where the rulers usually did their work and sat themselves down at the table enjoying a cup of tea as they would have been in thought. "Well Choi.. do you have any suggestions for what we do?" Choi would seem to relax, kicking her legs up on the table and leaning back thinking as a soft hmm left her mouth. "I propose we do nothing." This would leave Aoi to just give a strange look towards her, seeming confused on simply that. "Well I say this because, well nobody knows about what happened yet, and they don't need to know yet. No need to cause an unnecessary stir. And also since nothing has happened yet we need not make a decision, I think you're still just too tense." Choi leans over and playfully punches his shoulder. Aoi would have a nervous smirk on his face. "Very well then Choi, I just hope that they are all doing all right."
Royal Guard Offices
Red, one of the esteemed royal guards would saunter into the Royal Guard building and into her office, as she walked she had a sort of aura about her that radiated brightly off of her without even the need to see her or look at her giving off both fear and at the same time a sense of hope and enlightenment. Red was adorned with seemingly fancy wear allowed to wear something else than the simple Royal Guard standard outfit due to her status, a flowing red cloak with a hood going over her head, with messy short pink hair poking out from it, her face an oddity that looked like a mask as if it was hiding something underneath her face. Her most poignant detail being skinny seeming build and bright pink skin, although that appearance should not fool anyone and everyone in the building had known that.
When she was about to reach her office a small girl would have popped in her way with a big old smile and sparkling eyes as she looked at her. The girl had two cups of coffee in her hand extending one towards Red. "Here Captain Red!" as soon as she said that she would skedaddle off seeming giddy, well some of them really did like her she supposed, it did please her. Red took a sip of it and placed the coffee on her desk then took a seat about to go through some files, but she saw an envelope on her desk which caught her eye, it was from Undyne. Red curiously opened up the envelope and began to read the letter and it almost made her spit out the coffee in shock and it would seem her whole calm and relaxed demeanor would shatter. Reading the message she would have been declared temporary highest position as the captain of the royal guard, she cycled through many emotions as she just stared down at the envelope for a while with even tears slightly dripping from her face, but she wiped them away quickly and smiled, it seemed there would be a lot of work in tow for Red, and she would love to take it all on. Though while she would be taking this all in a dog would come waddling into her door with a giant smile on its face and a cute pink ribbon attached to it along with a note that simply said "Toby is the temporary vice captain -Papyrus" Red would not know how to feel about that, but she just placed the dog on her lap and started to pet it "Good boy."
