That proclaimed celebration had not come to be.. The work part was definitely first.
Within the confines of the city of Ebott in Japan there was an eerie aura about it. Even after they had made the repairs to the place once more this time even quicker thankfully towards the genius of the scientists and architects that had been able to prepare for this since it happened before, but there was still a problem. Looking down on the level of the streets of the average citizen there was an aura of fear around there. Every time someone would go around a corner, everytime they made a step they would make sure to look everywhere around them as if they were always suspicious that there was something out to get them. This aura was not only persistent when people were out alone with strangers. The enigmatic fear and oddness that had consumed Ebott would transmit into people's homes, peoples, workplaces, and people's friendships. Many people were superstitious about another attack due to the fact that two had happened not too long from each other. Even though the monarchs had relayed a message to them that the boss had been slain in an explosion many citizens were not buying it and thought that either they were misjudged about what actually happened or they were trying to ease everyone. What else lingered within the people which is the reason that the fear was even a problem was their seeming distrust for anyone that they had known. It had been speculated by some that the people responsible for the horrible acts to Ebott had been those that were from the city of Ebott themselves and plotted in plain sight upon their own homeland so no one knows if they were, it was a simple scary thought that would really eat away at some people. Although it was not only bad for this it was also the people that took advantage of such distress creating a period of time that could be noted as one of the worst recorded for the citizens in the generally peaceful and nice place to live. People that were less affected by this would do things such as selling drugs to those inflicted with the fear promising that it would let go of their worries taking advantage of the situation to make a profit, truly deplorable people make a rise in the worst of times, but also in the worst of times. The royal guard and the police force certainly did have a lot of work to do at this time, but luckily them being more refined and hardened than the average citizen would allow them to go through this crisis better than most. Of course such disruption of civilization would have come to the attention of the monarch's quite quickly as it did. And so they would promptly come up with an idea to quell the populous for some time. And make sure that their suspicion goes away.
Axis was currently pacing back and forth within his and the queen's bedroom as he was deep in thought. He couldn't think of how exactly to handle this situation. What exactly should he do? As a king for his people he should know not to be stressed and to be brave and handle it, but in this situation that was hard for even him to do as he paced around in silence. Although his pacing would have suddenly been interrupted as someone came into the bedroom behind him and placed a hand onto his shoulder stopping his pacing back and forth for a moment as it was none other than his wife Toriel who would have noticed her husband in seeming distress as she would have rubbed his shoulder. Axis would have slightly turned his head only to see a rather concerned look on her face, but at the same time it seemed pleasant and comforting. He would suddenly relax the building tension within him making the feelings subside due to her. Toriel would then query about his pacing. "What is it that's got you so worked up dear? Is it about what's happening within the city?" Axis would have promptly nodded his head as he crossed his arms and stared upwards for a moment, seeming to stare at nothing for a moment before lowering his head back to meet his wife. "Yes, I have been trying to think of something we can do to make this alright. I can't stand our people being in such disarray." He would seem visibly slightly irritated about the entire situation. Toriel would seem to put her hand on her chin in thought as she would then go on and say. "Well, why don't we think about it over some nice pie."
Later now Axis and Toriel were now sitting alone at the middle island within the kitchen on chairs on opposite sides from each other. They were both indulging in Toriel's pie which seemed to have a magical effect on whoever decided to take a bite out of it as it magnified someone's good feelings to the max and set them in a nice clear and calm state. Toriel would have brewed up some thoughts on what they could do while they sat down. Toriel would swallow some of the pie she was eating before speaking in a polite tone. "Well I think I have come up with a way that we can solve this." Axis would raise an eyebrow at her, a silent way of prompting his wife to continue talking intrigued on her point of view on this. "Well I think we should hold some sort of event once more, it seemed to quell everyone when we had done it last time right? And with Mettaton here I think it would be even more effective this time." Axis would think on that a bit and then would have shaken his head from side to side thinking of something else. "Well I think we will have to add onto that, it is even worse than last time. Something of a more permanent solution you know?" Toriel would have nodded. "I shall hear you out dear." And so Axis would go on. "Well I believe we could do that, but then have another plan at hand that would go on to fully demolish this problem. We may have people go around, we get investigators that will go around the city and interrogate people in secret and publicly to try and discern if they are a part of that organization. If we report this to our people, that may ease their worries." Toriel would have suddenly raised a hand up into the air stopping him as she would have a refute against this. "You must think more about the state of the people currently my dear Axis. If you tell people that we will have others watching them don't you think it would cause more panic? I think the best course of action is to tell them that we are doing something, but not exactly what we are doing?" Axis would nod to this, almost annoyed with himself that he didn't think clearer. Well sometimes it takes two. Axis would then smile and leaned over the table and would give a kiss to Toriel. "We should go check on the kids, but luckily it seems they're handling this stuff a lot better now. I'm glad that Sans is alright from that huge magic drainage from then too, but sadly it seems Gaster needs a bit more time from what happened to him." Toriel said, slightly dissapointed. "Do not worry dear. Everything will be all well." Axis would say and grasped onto the hand of Axis
Back at a special sector of the lab of Alphys there would be beeping monitors going off that resembled those you might see at a hospital, looking closer at the whole scene it would also be noted that there were 4 people in the room. One of them was attached to a hospital looking bed with the monitors having been attached to him. The man did not look the best, this man being Gaster, a man who did not exist. It seemed he was slightly struggling to keep himself together at the moment. The other 3 people were Sans, Papyrus and Alphys. Papyrus of the three would seem especially worried mostly due to his kind soul, but at the same time he was the least intellectual about this stuff in the room. The only reason he was even here was to make sure that his dad was alright.. Sans would have looked from the monitors and then down to Alphys. "Doc, do you have any info? How is he doing? Is he alright?" Sans would say seeming kind of frantic. This was one of the few times that you would see Sans express such emotion as he usually kept it in. Yet times have been getting more stressful and even his shell had slightly broken, but only for a moment as it covered once more, his less emotional self came back. Alphys would be a bit surprised and would stutter, but then she would have then gone to form proper speech once again. "Well Sans, he is alright he is making a fine recovery. He should be alright in just a few days, and not just alright even better and should have a resistance to anti-magic things like that hopefully. Now for the info part well it appears that they were able to somehow specifically craft the anti-magic waves for Gaster to affect him to a specially high level that wouldn't be normally possible with my and the scientists device. And the information for my device was never public and we decided to scrap them because of how they could accidentally hurt allies. It means that someone somehow got the blueprint and modified it, but not only that they knew the specifics of gaster and his magic." Sans would have then raised his hand upwards and rubbed the top of his own skull as his eye sockets sunk down slightly in thought there was a strange possible truth revealed by the words of Alphys.
"Alphys, are you thinking what I am? There may be an imposter among us, or rather your people. There is likely no other way that such information could have gotten out correct? Don't you have pretty tight security? But then the question is, how did they get Gaster's info. Did you have some of his readings or leftover energy lying around?" Alphys would then shake her head left to right quickly as she did not want Sans to think she was at fault. "No, no Sans! I made sure to keep all of the stuff regarding Gaster in an extremely hidden and hard to locate place that only I know. That makes me question even more where exactly they could have found it." Papyrus would seem to suddenly speak up in the conversation. It would seem they were accusing Gaster of having some involvement perhaps. "Now- now hold on there Dr. Alphys. But I hope you don't suspect my father to be a part of them. Although I have only gotten to know him again not too long ago, I do not believe my Father would do a plan like this and get himself hurt like this. I bet it was the person from the other timeline, don't you remember how he said his memories were taken every time? What if he forgot that they took some data from him and kept his memory shut." A silence would come over the room as they would think about that. Sans seemed to relax hearing his brother's words, they seemed to comfort him that it was not the answer. On the other hand Alphys would have been a little bit suspicious about this, but at the same time it was pretty plausible from what she knew, so it was best to not think of it as Gaster him now being moved to the bottom of the suspect list. Alphys would then speak. "Alright it's getting late everyone should get some rest." Papyrus though would have shook his head and taken a seat by Gaster. "I am going to stay a little longer." And so Papyrus would have stayed right there, but Sans could not leave his brother so he would have pulled up a chair. Alphys though would leave as she was already too sleep deprived from her work to even stay with them.
Papyrus would now just sit there and stare off into seemingly nothing and at Gaster at the same time although then speaking. "Hey brother, can you tell me some jokes?" Sans would seem surprised for a moment, but then he seemingly got it as a big grin would come over his face. "So why didn't the skeleton go to the dance?" "Sans! You've told that one so many times!" Papyrus would say in a slightly higher voice, but at the same time as he spoke of the repetitiveness of the joke. For some reason he just could not stop laughing along with his brother.
Now some days later the planned event that was created by the monarchs was quickly set into motion now as it would soon be set to happen. Currently Undyne, Alphys, Axis, Toriel, Sora, Papyrus and Mettaton were there. Sans says that he doesn't like big events so he decided to just go off to Grilled Spiders (Grillby and Muffet's place.) and Frisk decided to follow not wanting him to be alone. Then Chara, Asriel, and Shiro had all decided to go and see their dad again one on one, well it wasn't Shiro's dad, but it was her siblings' father.
Now that the party was about to part, Axis would have called out to Toriel, Papyrus, and Undyne who were all helping make food for the event. "Everything is alright over there?" He would have inquired as he got an answer from Undyne who spoke quickly and gave a haughty laugh. "NYAAGH! Do not worry there was only one fire this time king! I have prepared the food excellently! I hunted for the meals myself." Axis would then not even know how to respond to that and just gave a simple "Okay.." And then Papyrus would present some of his food, what he was currently making being some noodles. And Toriel would present her pastries. It was all looking like it was going very nicely from there. Axis would have then turned around towards the stage seeing Mettaton and his crew going at it to make sure everything there was going just right. And without him even saying anything to Mettaton he would have noticed the gaze of Axis and waved towards him. "Don't worry your pretty little head darling! Everything is going dazzling over here." Axis would sigh and finally just looked around seeing that everything else was about ready. Well it was time to let the crowd in, in about several minutes so he would be glad everyone was seemingly ready. Alphys was just around monitoring Gaster there making sure he was alright.
Soon the whole place would have been flooded with people coming into it. Only moments after it's opening as they were desperate for something to do and this would so happen to give them that relief that they so wanted. Those that were inside before the rush would have been suddenly surprised, but luckily they were not crushed or anything like that. The hosts looked around crazily as even they had not expected all of this at once. Suddenly the king and queen would've rushed up towards the stage and began to make an opening speech together. Toriel clinked a glass with a spoon towards the mic to gather everyone's attention and then they would start talking. "Ahem we welcome you all to our special event. I know we're in the midst of hard times once more, but now we have new ideas which will be an announcement at the end of the night, we know words are not enough to fix the issue anymore. And after that if you have any more questions at the end feel free to ask and they shall be answered. Enjoy yourselves without worry, there is security all aros so nothing will possibly go wrong." Although Toriel would whisper in her mind to herself "I hope.." But for now why don't you all enjoy the entertainment!
After that was said Mettaton would've suddenly shown up on stage and showed himself as he would've done a cheeky smile and winked at the crowd.. ah how nice it was to be in front of so many people again! He would make this one of his best performances. And so Mettaton would begin to dance impressing everyone with his moves as the crowd would erupt viciously and cheered some even brought to tears by the beautiful performance that he was putting on. Unfortunately this great crowd activity was so high that it caused a high magnitude earthquake, even more than the one that Trailer Swiffed had at her own concert! Luckily Mettaton put a stop to the earthquake that had been caused with his "dazzling skill." Now Mettaton may be the star of the event he is unfortunately not the star of the story. Yet he would be treated just as one as people threw roses and were appeased to see Mettaton come back to Ebott after so long, of course this had been where his career had all started. Thanks to the help of Dr. Alphys and the endorsements of the king and queen he was able to quickly become a rising star with his own skills too so much so that he went worldwide fast.
By a far wall at the event would stand Alphys and Gaster, Undyne was just around and making sure that nobody got too rough or anything like that. Papyrus and Toriel were serving food and drinks. Unfortunately Grillby and Muffet couldn't come, they said business would've been packed today likely. And well Sora.. he was just sitting curled up in a corner all alone. He was scared of the huge crowd of people especially being without someone that he was familiar with to be a sort of comfort for him. Sora would just have his mind spiraling. He would just be mumbling to himself as he would've busied himself with his own thoughts floating around within his head. On the other hand Dr.Gaster seemed a bit more lively with Alphys as he started moving from the far wall pushing along something reminiscent of an IV drip. Alphys would've quickly followed after the Dr and people made way for the both of them. Although at the same time humans and monsters alike would've been confused by the man. It was someone apparently Dr.Alphys had known and was supposedly a scientist like her from his outfit, but for some reason they had never heard of him before. It was all so suspicious and would've left some questioning the existence of the Dr, but at the same time it seemed he was a dick man it probably wasn't polite to think of such things about them. "Dr. Gaster are you feeling alright?" Alphys would've questioned. "No worries Dr, I am feeling okay to move. Besides i'm a bit famished and I must try some delectable part delicacies." Gaster would reply with a soft chuckle, but then let out a cough yet it was a weak one it seemed he was getting better. He would've then aloes up to the food like and waited his turn with Alphys. When he got up to Papyrus he would've seemed to smile at him and Papyrus would smile back seeming happy and relieved. "Ah father! You're looking far better almost to your old self again maybe you'll be even greater Heheheh. Alright alright you've got to eat some of everything to get your bones working right again, you'll need all the nutrients." Gaster would have only nodded his head. "You too Alphys! Especially since you'll be training with Captain Undyne! Everything here is healthy so no worries, I shall serve nothing but greatness for my great friends" They would silently just go along hearing that Papyrus seemed well enthusiastic, he was like that for just about anything. They would take a plate of everything and would have just slid down till they got to Toriel as she gave some nice words and a slice of pie, it was supposed to be something more nutritional, but somehow kept all the flavor of the usual ones she would serve. Gaster and Alphys would have now just been walking around eating, keeping to themselves as of now. Besides, both of them were not very good interactors, especially Alphys.
Whilst wandering around though they would have perceived that Sora had been found just sitting around in the corner of the entire place and Gaster would suddenly stop in front of him bending down slightly and looking down at him. Gaster would have looked at him slightly confused. "Sir Sora, why is it that you are all alone here curled up like that, anything the matter?" Gaster would have questioned in quite a pleasant and eloquent tone reverberating from him making him seem to be more approachable to someone. Sora would have then looked upwards getting out of his curled up state and would now sit criss crossed. "Well I uh, I am just nervous without Shiro here is all. And I don't know any of these people at all…" Gaster would seem to give an understanding expression onto his face as he would have extended his hand outward picking Sora up off of his butt. "Well then, you may talk to me for the night, I guess I could be your 'buddy.' I have been quite intrigued by you anyway Sora." Sora would have raised an eyebrow with an incredulous look not believing that he had caught his interest. What could it have been, wait when he first saw him didn't he say something about his interest in Sora's soul? Well Sora would have been sort of excited about sharing this with the doctor knowing just about all of the intelligence he has, well partially at least.
Alphys had wandered off from the two now that Gaster was seemingly fine and would seek out Undyne weaving through the crowd. "Excuse me, sorry, excuse me." She would say over and over again as she tried to sway though the great mass of people that would have existed within the crowd. It was like a gigantic disco party. It seemed even though this was supposed to be formal and official, how funny that is. With her efforts she would have eventually found Undyne within the crowd and would have been glad to see her, well she had to tell her some stuff so she could be more informed on the situation. She would tap Undyne on the back as she turned around quickly, but then just had a nice smile on her face seeing Alphys giving a toothy grin "Hey Al. What's up!" She was speaking partially with enthusiasm and trying to speak over the music. "Well I have to tell you about what I found from the event." Undyne would fold her arms giving a curious look prompting for continuance. Alphys would continue from the slight break in speech now "So as I found the Anti-Magic device was in fact directly modified for Gaster somehow and for some reason. And there is no way anyone could have gotten that information to modify it in such a way, which is a troubling thought." Undyne would have seemed to have a hint of anger across her face, she was already a bit suspicious of Gaster and this fueled the flames. "Gaster must be working with them and did this stunt to evade suspicion." She would proclaim this as a seeming fact, although Undyne had learned to not be so rash in her actions and such, but she felt there was a reasonable suspicion now. "B-but Undyne hold on it's probably not-." Undyne would have already been walking away from Alphys and over towards Gaster and Sora.
Gaster was just inquiring more onto Sora at the moment as they were in the middle of conversation. "Say, where does that curse of yours even originate from? Was it from-" Although Gaster would have been interrupted as he felt a presence behind him and turned around only to see Undyne right behind him, but she did not seem to be in particularly the best mood which is what would have worried him. "Ah Captain Undyne, what is the matter?" He would inquire although he would be met by an angry answer although not too loud as Undyne was still considerate about the party. "You are a part of them aren't you, I knew I couldn't trust you mysterious doctor." Gaster would not give a guilty reaction at the same time he was not very surprised, only slightly appalled at the accusation as he raised his hands up defensively. "I know you might not find me the most trustworthy person, but please Undyne do not make haste with your actions I can give a plausible explanation for-." There was a sudden massive gust of wind that whirled around in the air, it had been a result of Undyne have been about to do something towards Gaster, but she would remember her role and herself, this would be an unjust act for her to commit and if justice was to be served it would be served correct. "Gaster, just come and talk to me after this okay." Undyne would have said and walked away back to her patrolling of the party. Sora would look up at Gaster now. "Are you feeling alright doc?" "Yes, everything is just alright don't worry. Now why don't we continue our conversation alright?"
Grilled Spiders
Now the scene would shift to Grilled Spiders, the name of Grillby and Muffet's establishment, though most people would just opt to call it Grillby and Muffet place due to the rather strange name they would really need to work on a rebrand sometime in the future. Grillby was just standing over at the bar cleaning off a glass, his expression seemingly neutral and stern even though it was just his resting face as he was doing so currently looking up at one of the installed Tv's in the establishment that was showing the party of the monarchs. "Darn, wish I coulda gone there, Might've been fun." He would let out a puff of steam from his mouth as he shakes his head, well this job wasn't so bad anyway. He worked in a nice place with a relatively nice lady. He would think whilst looking around the red and purple themed restaurant/bar/bakery, yeah this place was a lot of things. It had looked quite a bit nicer than the Grillby's underground as he had become a fairly wealthy businessman so he could afford more things, but although the place changed it was pretty much the same old Grillby with the same old reasonable prices. Speaking at reasonable prices he would look over to the 'fairly nice lady' which was the spider Muffet that he worked with that was over at the bakery section selling off some pastries. Her prices were outrageous. Thankfully Grillby was able to make her reason for more acceptable prices so people actually tolerated and bought her items, besides the seeming greed of Muffet had decreased after coming to the surface. Besides, there was a reason for it and now that reason is gone. Muffet would have given him a little wink once he started her way, but he would just roll her eyes back at her and stare up at the Tv. Chatter amongst the customers would ensue as always, but there were things that would trigger Grillby's nonexistent ears, talk about the invasions. "So what do you guy's think about these invasions?" "I think there is someone on the inside around here that's gotta be it no other way." "I think it's the shadow government, maybe the communist." "What man you're crazy where did you get that from!" "Hmph no, it must be aliens, that's the only answer!" The person who suggested aliens would have just gotten stares and laughs. "Aliens! Are you crazy? Aliens aren't real." The guy who thought it was aliens looked around the bar at several monsters. "So these guys are more believable than aliens?" "Uh.. yeah you're right. They just seem so natural now." These were just some of the customers that were conversing with each other that seemed to be making chit-chatter and the recent events were a hot topic to speak about.
Grillby would seemingly have just been staring off and continuing to clean some glasses and prep some drinks for those who ordered it but he was listening. Although Grillby would have then heard footsteps walking over to him by the side, he would have turned over and would look only to see Muffet walking towards him, he seemed to not have any reaction to her coming. Muffet seemed to have a sass in the way she walked or more so rather a self confidence you would not see in many others. Muffet would give off a little laugh when she was in front of Grillby. "Fuhuhuhu Hey Grillby~ You hear all that chatter? What do you think about it? I hear all of these things, but I don't really believe any of these losers theories, but hey they give me money if I listen to them real nice and threaten them!" Grillby would have seemed to put his hand out to Muffet pushing her away slightly. "Too close, anyway Muffet please do not threaten our customers. We are trying to run a business, you know?" Muffet would nod adamantly in a quick and almost comedic way as if she was not going to take that very seriously. "I am not joking Muffet just.. Nevermind. Anyways for that question of yours well I don't know myself. I think it's just a bunch of people that don't like monsters that formed some secret organization or something like that. It's the most likely answer." Muffet would have pouted both at his action of pushing her away and his answer, though she would have suddenly stepped behind him and hugged him though only for a moment moving away before he did anything. "Aww Grillbyy that is such a boring answer." Grillby would have started to hand out some additional drinks while Muffet followed by passing out baked goods herself. "You always try to be so pragmatic in your thoughts and that's soo lame especially with the possibilities. I personally like that theory someone mentioned about aliens." They would now be walking back behind the counter. "They all looked human didn't they?" Grillby would ask a question he already knew the answer to. "Well yes, but you never know! C'mon let me have some fun. Ooo what if it's you!" She would say in a comical tone which only made Grillby seem slightly visibly annoyed. "Jeez I'm sorry big G Fuhuhu." Grillby's annoyance would have gone away and it would seem a slight smile was about him (Most people couldn't tell cause his head is just.. fire). Although Muffet could be annoying, at the same time it was nice to have her around all this time.
Suddenly the doorbell would ring as it would be seen that more people would begin to enter the building, and it would have been none other than the Ambassador and the Judge, Frisk and Sans. The two owners would have seemed quite happy to see the both of them especially because Sans did not owe him an extensive amount of money any longer. The two would have taken a seat right at the bar both giving big old smiles to Muffet and Grillby. "Heya." "Nice to see you again." Sans and Frisk would have spoken with simple greetings. "Nice to see that you both are becoming regulars again, it's nice to see some familiar faces once in a while.. Even if one is the lazy old Sans." Grillby would say, causing Sans to laugh slightly and Frisk would join in only slightly. Muffet would have looked curiously towards Frisk and would lean in towards her and softly spoke so only she could hear. "Soo it seems like you two are coming here alone more often ey? Something up you wanna tell." Frisk would seem frozen for a moment as an indescribable look would come over her face seeming flushed. "Well that gives me an answer, just tell me when it will happen properly and I can dress you up real nice dear." She would have said retracting herself from Frisk. Grillby and Sans would look at the two girls and then each other confused. "What do you think they're talking about?" Sans inquired. "Girl stuff." Grillby said not even wanting to bother to have a deeper thought about this as it would only prove to be nothing but more bothersome he would think. "So what can we get you two by the way?" Muffet would have inquired peacefully. "A ketchup shake and fries." "Some apple juice and a croissant." Sans and Frisk would respond. "Give us a second then loves." And then Muffet and Grillby would have gone off to simply give them what they had requested, not taking too long since they were simple requests. Now Sans was sipping on the ketchup-shake while Frisk seemed to be finishing her croissant quite quickly and washing it down with the apple juice, though Sans made a comment. "Hey Frisk, I think I saw Grillby slip some alcohol in there." Frisk would have suddenly had a shocked expression. Oh gosh she didn't drink that stuff that wasn't good. Frisk suddenly felt a dizziness come over her as she crashed her top half onto the lap of Sans. "Huh.. did that really happen? I just made her believe it enough that she felt the effect. That's pretty funny.. Awww dangit can't think of a good pun." Sans would say going to a more melancholy expression with a smile fading from his face as he would have continued sipping on the drink.
Grillby would have noticed the expression on Sans's face and would wonder what was up with him and so he would have simply inquired. "Sans what's up?" Sans would have then looked up at him and gulped down what he had in his mouth. "Well you know what, everyone is talking about right? Yeah I too think this isn't the end. It all felt just way too easy and abrupt, there has to be something else. And I believe it really is someone on the inside; there's no other way for them to have gotten that info." Muffet would have perked up hearing this as it was also something she was a bit interested in and turned towards Grillby "Oooh didn't think about that one." Grillby would not have responded as it would seem Sans had something else to say with a sudden change on his face. "Say you two. Can you give me a call if you catch anything suspicious. I feel like you'll hear a lot of stuff inside this place. Just please." The two would then nod back at Sans. "Certainly Sans." "They would be quite the bother, I would be glad to." Muffet and Grillby replied. Sans would then pick up Frisk and stood up poking her to make her wake up again. "Augh I felt terrible.. Ah, I feel fine now!" "Frisk you weren't even drunk.. That was just apple juice." Frisk would then have a surprised expression. "You tricked me! You will pay for that Sans." Sans would sigh as he walked towards the door now. "Alright Frisk, I'll get you some chocolate on our walk, you and Chara like that right?" And then the door would have rung as they left. "Hope we won't have to worry about that anytime soon." "Mhm."
Asgore's Flower Shop
Asgore had been quietly sitting within his shop which was mostly barren of people at the moment due to the event going on today meaning that many people wouldn't be wanting to come for some flowers or tea. And this was also the perfect day for what would come. He knew the kids were coming to see him and he would be quite glad to have some more time with him. Maybe he should move back closer to Tori, or just with her. It would be a bit inconvenient if they had to travel this far all the time… the sound of the door opening would play as steps would be heard of differing volume. Asgore would have then looked towards the door with a large smile present on the old monster's face. He would see the three well two of his children walk in and their sibling. They would've all quickly walked up towards him now seeming relatively happy themselves, their faces would've all been free of worry. And Asgore would be first to speak. "Hello again Chara, Asriel, Shiro." They would all quickly greet back "Hey Dad." "Hey As-gore." Asgore would look at Shiro and chuckle. "No need to be nervous, we have already talked before you know. Now why don't you all take a seat?" He would have said motioning towards other seats at the table he sat at. The three of them would have all shuffled around into the seats. Now once they sat down it would seem Asriel and Chara would look at each other and towards Asgore as they had something similar in mind to say. "Dad you should really come back with us and mom, I liked it when you were closer, and mom herself is even fine with you, you know that." "Just like Asriel has said father, It would be great to have you home. I could certainly put up with some more of your whimsical talks." Chara would say with a slight snicker at the end, but at the same time she did sort of admire the way Asgore was. He seemed so intelligent and thoughtful and wise, many things that she simply was not. "Oh you flatter me too well, and I guess that comes from just my time as a king. It has taught me a lot." He would say seemingly reminiscing on his time. "You were the best dad" Chara would say, but then Asriel would quickly prompt to say. "You still are!" Chara would then seen to suddenly shake as she found what she said could be taken in a bad way. "Like Asriel said Yeah!"
Asgore would just give this a slight chuckle as he turned over to Shiro. "So Shiro, I would like you to tell me how things have been going on. I haven't really seen you much, you know." Shiro would seem to be thinking for a moment before blurting out an answer. "Well everything's been jussst great you know! Ignoring all that bad stuff. I have a really nice family that helps me out and I got an awesome friend now too ya know. And I have been learning so much and I think that from here on everything will be great!" Asgore would have given a bit of a silent nice stare. In his head he was just thinking of how vague that was, but she was just a child and as long as she seemed happy is what mattered. "Well that sounds quite lovely I assume." Shiro would then adamantly say something more. "Oh em Asgore I would like to hear about you from you as well." Asgore would have been glad that the child was curious about him as well. Although of course he would try and only talk about what was necessary. "Back down in the underground ah. Well it was quite a lovely time despite the situation. At Least I had Toriel then to keep me alright. And then you two came along." He would have said looking towards Asriel and Chara. "You two made life a bit more exciting to say the least. You were interesting kids." Asriel would have then seemed to have a smile on his face as he would have nudged "Chara don't you remember you tried to replace butter with buttercups in the pie." Chara would pinch him. "Hey don't talk about that! What about when you were saying you were going to be some god of hyperdeath huh." Asriel was taken aback for a moment and then would proudly proclaim. "I did! You saw it too. I was so..cool. Well not then, but now. I didn't like how I was the first time." Chara would just pat Asriel's head. "There there Azzy it's alright you're not like that. You're the god of hyperawesome now hah." Asriel would just snort. "And you can see that they are still kind of like that today, in some ways people do not change I have learned. Alas eventually through our struggles in the underground we reached the wonderful surface and now here we are. I realize that was a rather short version. I will tell you the rest when you're older alright Shiro?" Shiro would nod. And then they would just keep on at their meeting for hours on end just talking about stuff. From what flowers taste the best (Sunflowers it was decided) to why did the chicken cross the road.
The Royal Party
Now back at the party it would seem that it was dying out as clusters of people had left as it was nearing its end, but those who stayed would be getting a treat. Sans Frisk, and all of those with Asgore including Asgore himself would have turned up to the party at its end now everyone was conglomerated into one space. "Oh Sans? I thought you said you didn't like big parties?" Papyrus would say. Sans would give a slightly off look and shrug, hiding something. "Eh well a lot of people left so it's alright now." Sans would say although Papyrus would have a worried look as it seemed he was hiding something. Seeing that look Sans would remember what he said before with Frisk. He wouldn't hide things anymore, but this time he would just once more for a little bit. He didn't want his thoughts to take the joy from his brother and everyone else here. Although after that interaction the musicians that were currently playing on the stage after Mettaton was done his show would suddenly stop as they seemed to suddenly be pushed off the stage, but they were alright. They would look confused as smoke would come from the stage. "Huh wazzat?" They would think as a figure appeared and it was revealed to be Mettaton once more. "Hello darlings it's me Mettaton again! Now that all my special friends are here and it is almost the end. I would like to sing a song that I have specially prepared for this event. This would spark excitement, but then at the same time those considered special friends would think. "What does he have in mind?" And after that thought passed they would find all of them to be pulled onto the stage and slapped in outfits fit for dancing with Mettaton branding slapped onto them. "Now dance!" Mettaton would announce and right after this would start to sing the song. At first this would lead to confusion from everyone, but then they just went along with it and danced it a weird uncoordinated way, yet they were all just having a blast doing so. They eventually started to get a bit better and it seemed it was rather entertaining for people to watch so no harm at all! Although it would eventually end as an explosion would happen in the air as Mettaton finished a note ending it on a blast. "Now for the king!" Mettaton would say tossing the mic to Axis.
"Huh what? Oh!" Axis would say as he would quickly realize why exactly he even had the mic anyway and would place a confident smile on his face to rid of the confusion that he had before. "My citizens and people. Me and my wife have put in motion plans to make your lives feel more safe and secure. Although we can not tell you exactly what, it is not due to the nature of them just so those that may use the information negatively won't do anything." He would say this to settle down any suspicion that may be formed from this. "Now I hope that all of you may have wonderful futures in your wake, especially as long as I and Toriel are in charge. Peace be to you all." He would end his talk. It would be short yet concise, although it would be enough for most people due to his reputation. And with that the event would have ended with everyone flooding out now.
