Chapter 44 - New Plans

Coalition Army Command Room.

"We'll divide our fleet into two. One will head north to support those seas while we take control of the waves that would be delighted to receive our protection," Dario said, displaying the current battlefield situation.

"How do we plan to keep the enemy at bay?"

"We have control points where a squadron can remain hidden. As long as they aren't discovered, which they won't be, they can send a message or retaliate directly against the enemy."

Thorian walked towards the seat prepared for him and carefully examined the battlefield, which was vastly different from before. "There's no enemy colony on these sides; the farthest one is on an island near the Earth Nation, so before attacking it, we need to be united with the North."

"They won't accept joining us."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Thorian said, pointing to an enemy base on the ice map. "That boy calling himself the Avatar will travel to the Northern Colony. If the Fire Nation's attention is now focused on him, they'll do everything to prevent him from learning water control."

All the generals nodded; it was clear that the importance of an Avatar who hadn't existed in the war's recent years was a significant radical change that even the Fire Nation would prioritize over them.

The reason they would be ignored is that the Emperor would be confident in the meteorite passing close to the atmosphere in no more than a year. If he trusts it so much, then he'll know he can eliminate his enemies once all his plans are ready.

Therefore, once the Fire Nation fleets head north, the South will take advantage of that to seize all the colonies in the nearby seas, while the other half of the fleet ambushes the enemy from behind.

This battle plan involves many crucial things, so they needed to focus entirely on it from a distance for now. Liberating the nearest islands and training their new soldiers was crucial; their armies would grow when they rescued the Earth Nation's prisoners of war.

"There's no need to wait so long; what if this gives the enemy enough time to attack us?" An elder looked directly at Thorian and said, "If we divide our warriors as you said, we'd have trouble if attacked again. Is there a plan for that?"

"There are plans for everything, Elder..."

Thorian, on the other hand, was confident in his plans and said, "We need at least half a year to form the ideal fleet and prepare for the invasion; we have no choice but to wait and increase our armament through the help of the islands that have decided to ally with us as long as we protect their island."

Everyone began doing what Thorian had ordered without any problem; they trusted him and knew that this plan was one of the best ways to gain great control over points farther and farther from their territory.

Of course, these plans were beyond the understanding of common people.

Until the end, everyone only saw possibilities shrouded in mist.

But Thorian could tell that his plans were more flawless.

Once everyone left the cabin, Thorian looked at Brad and asked, "What about the Fire Nation soldiers who have been captured?"

"The plan to turn them into our warriors has begun; they have weak minds, so they'll only resist for a few months before they can fully trust and listen to your words."

To dominate the minds of those people, they must first suffer and abandon their desires to live. Only then could Thorian, as their savior, give them a new chance to enjoy their lives. But before that, they needed to achieve a goal in this invasion.

Everyone would need a god for what was to come.
