The room was engulfed in an eerie silence, a silence so profound it was almost tangible. Suddenly, a dagger appeared, silencing Manager Zhao's tirade in an instant. Little Wang, standing next to him, was oblivious to the unfolding drama.
By the time he regained his senses, Ding Feng had already landed a powerful kick to his chest.
The impact sent Xiao Wang sprawling on the ground, clutching his nose with one hand and his chest with the other. Despite being a fully grown man, he was no match for Lu Yu, the son of a billionaire, whose bodyguards were all combat-ready.
Manager Zhao's lamp-holding wrist was seized by Xue Li, and the sight of the dagger in Xue Li's hand made him realize the gravity of the situation.
He wisely chose not to resist, placing the lamp on the nearby shoe cabinet and attempting to placate everyone with a smile.
"Brother, can't we talk this out?
Why resort to violence?"
Shi Lei, who was trailing behind, closed the door and was taken aback to see Yan Yun in the room. He recognized her as the beauty of their school.He was astounded to realize that his boss was living with Yan Yun. He couldn't help but admire his boss's audacity in winning over the school's beauty.
Ignoring Shi Lei, Lu Yu approached Manager Zhao and stared at him.
"Are you going to talk?"
Without waiting for a response, Lu Yu swiftly bent down and delivered a punch to his abdomen. The sudden attack left Manager Zhao writhing in pain and screaming. Instinctively, he doubled over, clutching his stomach.
Lu Yu didn't stop there. He grabbed Manager Zhao's hair, forced his head down, and landed a knee strike on his face. The combination of attacks left Manager Zhao disoriented and bleeding from his nose. Before he could react, he received another kick.
"Damn, you usurpers!
You dare to shut me out?"
At this point, Lu Yu was seething with rage. Part of his anger was directed at Yan Yun, but most of it was aimed at the others. He was incensed that they had taken over someone else's place to avoid danger, even going to the extent of locking the rightful occupant out. He felt that such actions could potentially endanger His life.
Manager Zhao was kicked to the ground, covering his face and moaning in pain. Lu Yu ignored him and turned his cold gaze towards Yan Yun and the others. There were eight people in the room, including Yan Yun. Apart from Yan Yun, Manager Zhao, and Xiao Wang, there were two men, a woman, and two aunts.
One of the men, seeing Lu Yu's aggressive approach, quickly tried to justify their actions. "Brother, it's dangerous outside. You should understand our predicament." An aunt chimed in, "Young man, we did this for everyone's safety. Besides, we did let you in eventually."
Lu Yu had four men on his side, each armed with a weapon. Although there were four men on the other team, they had been subdued by Lu Yu's men. Realizing their disadvantage, they tried to adopt a more amicable tone.
"Can't we settle this peacefully?"
Lu Yu pondered for a moment before nodding slightly.
"Considering that you haven't caused me any substantial harm, I can let you go. Shi Lei!"
"Boss!"
Shi Lei responded.
"Throw these guys out!"
Lu Yu ordered.
"Throw… throw out?"
Shi Lei was taken aback. "Boss, do you mean throw them downstairs or in the corridor?"
"If you can throw them downstairs, then do it!" Lu Yu clarified.
"Ah?
Oh, oh, I understand, boss!"
Shi Lei was a bit embarrassed by Lu Yu's explanation. He hurriedly went over to Xiao Wang, who was nursing a bloody nose after being kicked by Lu Yu.
"Hey, kid, are you still being stubborn?"
Hearing Lu Yu's order to throw them out, the aunts were the first to protest. "It's so dangerous outside.
Why would you force us to leave?"
"That's right, don't you have any empathy?"
one of them added. "This is a hotel room, not your private villa.
Why are you driving us out?
Just because we didn't let you in at first?
Is that necessary?
Can't we just pay you some rent?"
"Shut up!"
Lu Yu was infuriated by their incessant chatter. He drew his sword again.
"Fuckers, you're not leaving, are you?
Fine, I'll make you bleed, and then throw you all downstairs!"
"Don't, don't do it!"
Seeing Lu Yu draw his sword, Xiao Wang, who was bleeding from his nose, was terrified. He could tell that these guys were not to be trifled with. Even if they didn't actually kill him, they might still stab him a couple of times.
"I'm leaving, can't I just leave?"
Xiao Wang was on the verge of tears. When he had opened the door for Lu Yu earlier, he had thought about something. This guy named Lu Yu had just come in from outside, so it should be safe outside now. Anyway, he was in a lose-lose situation, so he might as well take a chance and leave.
With this in mind, Xiao Wang ignored the others, got up on all fours, and carefully opened the door. Seeing that the outside was indeed as safe as he had thought, he quickly fled the room where Lu Yu was.
"Oh, little Wang, you…" One of the men in the room was a bit embarrassed and looked at Lu Yu tentatively. "Since Xiao Wang has left, can I go too?"
"Get out!"
Lu Yu didn't even bother to look at him. As if he had received a pardon, the man quickly pulled the woman and ran out of the door. Another man followed suit.
Seeing this, Manager Zhao was on the verge of tears and quickly begged Lu Yu for mercy. Lu Yu had no interest in his life. Seeing this, Manager Zhao also rolled and ran out.
Soon, there were only two aunts left sitting on the sofa in the room. Lu Yu walked over slowly and looked at the two of them.
"Aren't you leaving?"
"No!"
One of the aunts sat on the sofa with a defiant expression. Ignoring the other aunt's suggestion, she said,
"They're afraid of you, but I'm not afraid of you! I've lived a long time, and I'm not afraid of you young punks!"
Lu Yu emphasized again,
"This is my room!"
"So what?
In a society ruled by law, do you really dare to use a knife against me?"
she retorted.
"Are you sure you won't leave?"
"I'm not leaving!"
Before the aunt could finish her words, a cold light flashed by, and her voice stopped abruptly. She clutched her neck in horror and looked at Lu Yu with an incredulous expression.
Blood spurted out of her neck and sprayed the face of the aunt next to her.
"Xue Li, Ding Feng, throw her downstairs!"
Lu Yu ordered.
