It's been a week since I came to this new world... and now I'm sleeping in the training room.
"Why do you sleep here everyday? Do you have a problem with girls?" Tanaka asked smiling at me while walking into the room.
"N-no, not at all." I answered looking away.
I wasn't lying but I wasn't saying the truth either, in one way or another.
I haven't slept in the same room with a female for months, especially one who isn't blood related.
Two days after we came to SW East:
I had taken my bath with the guys in the mens bath, it's obviously ours. I changed and went straight to my room when Nakamura and Kimishita started arguing. When I got back, Ueta wasn't in the room so I just jumped on my bed and made myself comfortable.
I went to my bed, as normal and oblivious as I was, I laid down and began enjoying the mattress, before long, I dozed off.
The next morning, when I woke up...
"Hmmm? What's with the extra weight?" I asked looking at my right hand.
*HUH?!*
Ueta was on my bed, her head on my arm. That would have been okay but... her pajama was open.
*Wh-wh-what do I do?!*
After few minutes of trying to understand the situation and get things done, I decided to slowly remove her head and escape the room, which was successful. I went straight to the kitchen and prepared breakfast and then to the training room.
The next day, something worse happened and so I decided to stop staying there. She was confused of course, she wasn't aware of her behaviour.
NOW:
"So, what do you guys think we should do?" Tanaka asked when we all gathered at the sitting room.
"Yeah, we haven't received any messages about any match." Saitō said.
"I have a bad feeling about this, what if they make us do hard things, I'm not ready to die yet." Tamura Hinami said.
*I don't think that's a serious thing though. Maybe he just said that so that we'd half-ass anything.*
But of course, it's gonna be seriously hard, it's not like they brought us here to become lazy or something. We didn't come to enjoy some sort of holiday.
"I met some other team, thet already began training in their field." Tanaka said.
"Whoa, I wonder how we'll survive here." Ryuto said.
Atleast they've started thinking about it. That's one problem half solved.
"The coach isn't back yet, we don't know the drills he'll teach." Nakamura said.
*So they intend to wait, huh?*
"Yeah, he isn't back yet, but when would he be back?" Hayashi Chika asked.
"Well, atleast we can start with any drill we know, atleast some guys here were in their school soccer club." Tanaka said referring to Nakamura and Kimishita.
"Yeah." They said in unison.
Apparently, the both of them attended the same High school and played for their soccer team.
"So we just have to make time for it." Tanaka said smiling.
And that was all, the boys kept playing games with the steam deck they had bought and the girls kept going out to meet other people.
*These guys aren't serious, at all.* I thought kicking a ball.
Not that I had the right to speak, I wasn't even serious at all. I was kinda lucky to have learnt the basics back from my uncle so I could do few things.
I believed I had to make up for lost time and skill. I didn't want go hold back the team so I decided to try training on my own.
I kept kicking the ball into the net till I was tired.
*Guess I'll focus on the stuff in the training room.* I thought walking out of the field and into the training room.
There were different equipments for training inside the room.
*I've never used stuff like this before, but I guess it's better than staying in my room.*
I mounted the electrical bike(heard the name from Tanaka) and began whatever what I was doing was called.
*Seems kinda fun.*
"Looks like you're training hard." Someone said.
"Not really, I'm just doing whatever." I said, turning to look at the person.
It was the coach and he had this serious look on his face.
"Is there something on my face? You've been staring." I said.
"Oh, my bad." He said looking away.
*I wonder when he got back.*
"We've been waiting for you, apparently we can't do anything since you aren't with us." I said as he laughed.
"Was that what you guys came up with?" He asked.
"No, that's what they came up with, I really don't know what to do so I'd better learn how to use these equipments." I said.
"Oh... that's nice to hear, but we'll be practicing when I see how serious you guys are." He said.
"So, don't tell them I'm back." He said walking out.
"Hmm."
"And…"
"Hm?"
"You should probably increase the difficulty of that bike." He said before finally walking out.
"Thanks… I guess."
