My colleague, Luis, anxiously said, "Teacher Dennis, where are you going? The public class is about to start and this is our first collaboration. I'm afraid I can't handle it alone."
Dennis turned around and stopped, casting a faint glance back. His words, gentle and light, carried a lingering warmth like the afternoon sun: "Give me ten minutes."
"Okay, I'll wait for you to come back," Louis said, feeling a slight nervousness in sis heart and not knowing what to do with sis hands. In fact, she wasn't afraid of giving lectures alone or commanding the whole room; she just didn't want to miss out on this opportunity for collaboration."
...
Encounter coffee.
The coffee shop was quiet in the morning with hardly anyone around. However, today a stunning and elegant blonde woman walked in, accompanied by five male students who appeared to have mischievous intentions.
They ordered four bottles of red wine, ten small drinks, a few snacks, and booked the largest private room. Then they escorted the blonde beauty upstairs.
The waiter, concerned about potential incidents, immediately called the campus security office after several people went upstairs to prevent students from engaging in inappropriate behavior while under the influence of alcohol and affecting the reputation of the school.
Three minutes later, Dennis walked into the coffee shop with an unopened frying pan in his hand and said, "Room number, please."
"406." The waiter stated the door number, only to realize something was amiss and exclaimed in surprise, "Mr. Dennis, is that you?"
"Sure." Dennis responded lightly, his handsome face as cold as ice, his slender figure carrying a hint of hostility. He walked steadily up the stairs and disappeared.
At this moment, there was a lively atmosphere in room 406. The boys poured themselves glasses of red wine and filled the table with a row of small ice-filled cups. Then they raised their glasses and uniformly toasted from east to west.
In an instant, the red wine overflowed and flowed down the table to the floor, filling the air with its fragrance.
A boy sat next to Helen and picked up a small cup, placing it in front of her. He asked, 'Miss, how would you like to drink it?'
"Guess what?" Helen took the wine glass and without any warning, poured all the wine in the guy's face.
The boy's face immediately turned unpleasant, about to erupt in anger. However, he saw Helen give him a slight blink and became captivated by her. He had no choice but to temporarily suppress his inner fury and asked, "What do you mean?"
Helen's smile was eerie as she approached, deliberately drawing out her words with a slow pace. She said, "I seem to quite enjoy drinking the liquor from your body."
"Wow! kiss him, kiss him!"
The atmosphere in the private room was instantly ignited, and everyone started cheering. Someone turned on the stereo and played the most exciting dance music. Immediately after, everyone raised their glasses and drank them all in one go. In the thrilling music, they turned off all the lights and crazily danced with their eyes closed.
"Miss, come and have a drink." The young man's eyes lit up as he smoothly fell onto the sofa, continuously pulling Helen's hand.
Helen stood up supporting the sofa and looked at the boy's neck. A glimmer of light appeared at the bottom of her pupils. Although this person is somewhat unhealthy, his blood is fresh, and this situation can only be made up for. She has not tasted fresh blood for too long.
"Miss, come quickly..." The young man met his demise but still indulged in a captivating dream. In the darkness, Helen could still see everything clearly. She slightly parted her lips, revealing two sharp white fangs. The thrilling lunchtime moment was about to arrive...
Suddenly, a unidentified flying object flew out of the darkness and hit Helen on the back of her head, almost knocking off her wig.
Helen was hit and the pain made her show her sharp teeth as she roared, "Who? Who threw something at me!"
Dennis kicked open the door and lifted the curtain with a cold breeze following him as he walked in. He asked, "What happened?"
After seeing Dennis' figure, Helen's face turned unpleasant, but quickly she revealed a bright smile. She spoke sweet words and hurriedly pressed her hands against her head, securing her wig, then rushed towards Dennis with big strides: "Dennis? It's you? I missed you. I came out specifically to find you."
Dennis raised an eyebrow lightly and his lips twitched twice, as he bluntly retorted, " You miss me? Then why were you lying on top of them?"
In the private room, all the boys have fallen to the ground and are unconscious. Because Dennis just sprinkled some kind of powder so that,he can handle things better.
Helen was momentarily stumped when asked, but after some thought, she picked up a plate of shredded squid and explained, "I miss you and I also crave food. When I encountered them on the way, I just wanted to have a taste."
"Roll! So much nonsense!" Dennis' accumulated personal cultivation, quality, and aura were instantly shattered at this moment.
"Alright then, I'm leaving." Helen walked away without any hesitation, as she could now go in search of fresh food again.
"Wait, come back," Dennis called out to Helen.
Helen stopped in her tracks and turned around, looking somewhat puzzled. "What's wrong?"
Dennis stood by the window, glanced outside and calmly said, 'Go this way.'"
"Are you kidding? Are you crazy?" Helen scoffed, why should she listen to him? Jump out of the window? Her current abilities are similar to humans, she would end up paralyzed if she did that.
"Are you willing to be killed? I heard that there are other vampire hunters who have entered this city. Given your current condition, it seems unlikely that you can defeat them." Dennis furrowed his brow, and the dark depths of his tea-colored eyes grew even darker.
In the morning, those two police officers were a hint. They weren't there to investigate a case, but specifically to search for him or to track down the whereabouts of pure-blooded vampires.
"How do you know so much? What else do you know?" Helen was slightly stunned. Earlier, she had no idea that this place belonged to vampire hunters.
Dennis picked up Helen's collar, easily lifted her up, threw her down the window, and said, "I'm a history teacher, not to mention a vampire, I know even Chinese zombies."
