After Fate had his morning constitutional with Ruby, he went to check on the progress of gold-plating his castle walls.
To his surprise, when he arrived, he noticed that all of the extremely attractive female construction workers were wearing various subtle shades of red among their tight green uniforms.
Fate recalled seeing this same shade of red on the ring of Sam from the Adventurers Guild. Fate figured that red must be the newest fashion trend among the women, so he did not dwell on it anymore.
What truly surprised Fate was the giant pieces of his castle walls being removed one by one and replaced with Black Obsidian Marble. Fate recognized this material from the game of Blissful Paradise.
Fate walked up to the workers and recognized Shadow as the one directing this project.
Shadow noticed her lord's arrival and saluted him, saying, "My lord, what can I help you with today?"
