Chapter 1 - The Foolish Son of the Landlord's Manor

March in the Gambling City.

The scenery is picturesque, and the surroundings are delightful.

In this city of Las Vegas, on one side, there are dazzling casinos and high-rise buildings, while on the other side, there is the bustling old town with flowing traffic.

It truly embodies the saying, "Half the city in ruins, half the city thriving." The streets and landscapes in the old town exude historical charm, and every evening, neon lights flicker, creating an atmosphere of intoxication.

In a hotel resembling a giant birdcage, at the top-floor luxurious suite, two fair-skinned girls, wrapped in towels, are currently trembling.

They are truly frightened.

Just a few minutes ago, the person on the bed seemed to have suddenly died, and now, witnessing a sudden revival, they couldn't help but be scared.

However, as the person on the bed groaned and sat up, this fright turned into immense surprise.

One of the blonde, long-legged girls, who had previously thought she was done for, is now holding hands with her companion, tears in her eyes, saying, "Thank goodness! Young Master didn't die!"

Due to the loosened towels, the towels covering them fall to the ground, revealing a glimpse of spring.

Jason Hart, the young man on the bed, is still dazed and in pain due to lack of oxygen.

As his vision gradually clears, he witnesses the dazzling scene before him – two tall and beautiful women standing there, making him momentarily believe he's in a dream.

Yet, closing and reopening his eyes, the scene remains identical.

Even the little cat tattoo below one of the girl's belly buttons is distinctly visible.

The young man is instantly stimulated.

A flood of memories rushes into his head like a tide, and subconsciously, he asks, "What happened to me?"

Covering himself again, one of the girls with big eyes and a high nose, with her fair and tender skin, approaches and tells Jason Hart, "Jason, you scared us just now. You got too excited, drank a lot, and apparently faked your death. You even stopped breathing."

"Jason..."

After a moment of reflection, the young man finally discovers a staggering fact – he's been reborn?

In his memories, just a second ago, he was a small supervisor named Ryan, who accidentally fell off a cargo elevator due to an unexpected incident.

Upon opening his eyes again, he sees the two beautiful women like twins, and the sky outside the window has turned dark.

Reaching out to touch the face of the woman in front of him, warm and tender, confirming she is indeed real.

Jason Hart, or rather, Ryan, staggers down from the bed, goes to the bathroom to look in the giant mirror, and realizes he's become younger – with a high nose bridge, sword-like eyebrows, and big eyes, a handsome guy.

After washing his face and recalling, he discovers he's only eighteen years old!?

Realizing something is amiss, he looks at the two girls, who appear to be at least twenty-three or twenty-four years old... Well, well, robbing the cradle, and he's eating two pieces of grass at once.

Other than admiring "himself," Jason Hart is left speechless. After a brief rest, he continues with the unfinished matters.

...

The hotel doctor arrives promptly, thoroughly examining him.

Not long after, a lean and old man, around fifty years old, rushes in, accompanied by a few people, giving off an air of formidable characters.

Seeing him, Jason Hart knows instantly that he is his father, his real father.

George, wearing a worn-out electronic watch and driving a Benz for twenty years. There are rumors that even stray dogs passing by the house are stripped of a layer of skin.

When Jason sees the old-fashioned mobile phone in his father's hand, he realizes something is wrong again.

Before he could ask more questions, his old man is already furious, cursing loudly, "You kid, can't you study properly? You actually learned to find prostitutes! I worked my ass off on that rickety board, risked my life, to build a huge family business. Is it all for you to squander?! Every day! Someday you'll drive me to death!!"

Coughing a couple of times.

Jason Hart feels wronged, still not having put on his pants, hiding under the blanket, leaning against the bedside table, explaining, "I passed out just now, couldn't handle the stimulus. Can't we talk calmly?"

Around his old man, someone is busy trying to mediate.

A middle-aged, chubby man with a mole on his forehead wipes his sweat and says, "That's right, as long as he's fine. Take it easy.

Jason not focusing on business is not bad; eating, drinking, having fun, and enjoying life.

He won't squander your fortune. My son, on the other hand, went to Oxford, came back with high ambitions, insisted on medicine, and in just two years, he spent my three billion dollars, kept a bunch of people, and produced nothing!

I wish I could beat him to death with a hammer. Recently, he's talking about entering the communications industry, and even ten billion may not be enough.

So, looking at it this way, Jason is saving you money."

This speech is quite powerful.

In the old man's ears, it sounds reasonable.

His own son merely likes to fool around with a group of friends, and a monthly allowance of two hundred thousand dollars is barely enough.

In other words, depositing three billion dollars in the bank, relying on interest alone, is enough to sustain him.

Not only is it sufficient, but also extra interest can be earned.

The old man pats the friend with a mole on his forehead, his anger has subsided quite a bit, and he smiles, saying, "Your son is better. He's young, at least dares to venture and strive. Communications is so lucrative; there must be money to be made."

Though that's what he says.

Whether he thinks so in his heart is not certain.

Comparing whose son is squandering wealth more, the old man feels his friend is already winning, and leading by far.

He glances at the two girls who dare not show themselves, muttering about his son's judgment being quite ruthless.

The old man speaks with a hidden meaning:

"At such a young age, not afraid of being drained by them. You can't handle it. Who takes advantage of whom is uncertain. Our family has a high threshold, and ordinary women can't even dream of entering.

It's precisely during this growth period; hurry up and roll back home. Tomorrow, I'll send you back to school. Stop fooling around all day!"

The scene is slightly awkward.

After Jason Hart's tumultuous encounter, his head no longer aches, and the effects of the alcohol have dissipated.

Now he just hopes for some peace, to let his old man leave quickly, and nods decisively...

Jason Hart takes a shower, dresses, and heads downstairs.

The two girls he met at the nightclub have already left, agreeing to meet again when they have time.

Having a vague memory of his car, he boldly parks it askew at the hotel entrance, occupying two parking spaces.

His old man is driving a beat-up Mercedes, and when it comes to Jason, he doesn't mind spending money.

After all, he's the only son at home, and just last month, after some emotional turmoil, Jason Hart bought a Ferrari F50.

Arranging for a hotel chauffeur, he vaguely remembers living near Bishop Mountain. Even when he was Ryan, he visited the gambling city and knew that the vicinity of Bishop Mountain was prime real estate.

Driving with the window down, Jason Hart feels increasingly startled as he recalls.

Glancing at the face in the rearview mirror, his old man is a top-ten tycoon in the gambling city. It's only 1997, and his assets have already reached double-digit billions, well over thirty billion dollars.

Passing by an office building that he vaguely remembers as his own, next to it is a five-star hotel... also owned by his family, it seems.

Staring at the youthful face in the mirror again and again, Jason Hart finally realizes he is now a true rich second-generation, the wealthy offspring he had always dreamed of.

The initial shock of rebirth, now transformed into an immense delight, causes Jason Hart to burst into a silly, hearty laugh – hahaha!

Having lost his parents early in life and having been somewhat ostracized living with relatives.

Even with hard work, he couldn't reach the starting line others effortlessly crossed. Working over ten hours a day, he was just getting by.

Now, things are different. He finally has the opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of the wealthy, caressing the Ferrari F50 with his hands – how delightful.

Beside him.

The hotel chauffeur, responsible for driving, is startled by Jason Hart's appearance.

In his thoughts, he had heard that the landlord's son was a bit foolish. Now, seeing it, the rumors seem to be true...
