"Prince Sebastian! Today is the day!" Ian, his servant, knocked at the prince's bedroom.
"I'm awake." Sebastian moaned, rubbing the bags under his eyes. He had been awake all night, not even catching a wink of sleep. Sebastian was utterly nervous – not that he would ever admit it.
The prince got up, stepping in front of his mirror. He combed his fingers through his rich blonde hair and touched the long eyelashes hanging over his green eyes. Two moles spotted his face: one below his right eye and the other hidden at his forehand by loose strands.
Sebastian muttered under his breath about how ugly he looked with his bags, then headed to the bathroom to take a shower.
"You already look perfect," Ian remarked, observing the prince in his pajamas. "But, of course, we need you to look as astounding as you can to make sure Princess Lei chooses you. Not that I have any doubt that you will."
Sebastian nodded.
"We have a specialized butler here to help you out for today," Ian said. "This butler is well-known empires-wide! We are extremely fortunate to have landed him, so please have your respect."
With this, Ian backed out of the room and another man walked in.
He had a gentle, beautiful smile and sparkling brown eyes that reminded Sebastian of someone he couldn't quite place. The butler had a tall, slim stature and was wearing a tailcoat that matched his style perfectly. His light purple hair was pushed to the side.
"Pleasure to meet you," the butler said, and his voice was ever-so-sweet.
Sebastian's eye twitched the sense of knowing. But still, he just couldn't remember.
"I will be assisting you today with your outfit," the man continued, pulling out a measure. "My name is Jylan. I hope you are pleased with the results. Now, let us get started."
