The next day, Coral sat at her desk, attempting to remain inconspicuous as the math teacher distributed papers with students' names and scores.
"Coral!" she heard Miss Kelly's cold voice. "Too good, too good. All answers are zero... and your score is also zero." Miss Kelly declared.
Coral stood up from her seat, collected her paper, and everyone stared at her in shock.
"I thought the new student was a good student."
"Oh my god! She's just like us."
"But she got zero, I got at least five, hahaha."
Coral didn't even care about her score. However, Emily gave her a pitiful look; she had scored 17 marks.
Jake looked at Coral, his gaze lingering on her face for any sign of sadness due to her low mark. However, she didn't seem to care as she folded the paper and tucked it away in her book.
