From the beginning this was entirely a one sided battle. No matter how angry Rick got, he still couldn't win against Shiva, his moves were unpredictable and that made him invincible.
Rick flung another fist at Shiva which he simply sidestepped with a never ending chuckle. "Is that the best you can do devil?"
This infuriated Rick even more as he formed a flame sword in his hands and projected it at Shiva who simply dodged this with a little scratch.
"This fight is getting really boring devil, don't tell me you depended so much on the sins you do not even know how to use your soul energy?" Shiva's look fell abruptly and his question was replied instantly with a growl from Rick.
The sins of course was his main weapon, to a god that knew nothing about him it would make the battle so much easier as they absorbed the emotions of the supreme beings and converted them into enough power for Rick to match the god in question.
Also they helped him enthrall their mind in a void of doubt and weakened them greatly unlike he did Anubis, Shiva was such a free soul, it was like he had no feel or pride like the rest and that made him invincible to the sins and Rick's secret ability.
'So what do i do?' still he had no knowledge of being a devil and only learned about mostly the seven deadly sins in his stay at the library of Anansi.
Before his thinking got too far off a fist connected with his jaw making him stagger and then a knee to his gut, then another attack. Dozens of lightning fast hits made to his entire being and soon enough Shiva layed the final hit backhanding Rick with so much force that threw him into the ground creating a huge gorge several yards away.
"What a waste of time," Shiva exhaled shifting his gaze to Jade Argusi who was watching with a surprised look on her face.
She was probably wondering, 'What a weak load of crap that kid turned out to be, he is totally of no use.'
"You are next Argusi."
"I'm not done yet!" Rick screamed out getting their attention. He was up on his feet in a crooked stand, his face filled with blood and his breathing violent, somehow just from taking those punches his entire body system had been disoriented.
But no matter what he couldn't accept feeling useless and underneath a deity or angel, even till he dropped, he preferred to keep on fighting.
"Martial death arise!" As soon as this statement made way out of Shiva's mouth Rick sensed a foreboding vibe in his chest.
In the next second, his entire body from the joints started to twist the other way, "KAGGAAHKKAAAHHH!" Drool and blood flew out from Rick's mouth from his unbearable scream as his bones began to pop out and his body convulsed.
The Hits he had taken earlier were not just punches and kicks, however they were martial attacks that had the effects to kill him.
'Wait am I really dying as a devil so soon?'

The last untwisted bone in his body turned the other way breaking from his lower neck and allowing his head to jerk back to see the sky, he noticed his life flicker within and surely knew. "I am really dying again."
