Two days had passed by and today was the day Ye Muchen would get money.
He wore a white, cotton T-shirt, a plain, black hoodie, and black cargo pants. His hair was a mess and he did not bother combing that. He grabbed his phone and went out.
He called for a cab and said, "Legend of Ace Competition Tournament. Enter from road three, please." The driver did as he was told and soon reached LOACT. "Twenty Yuan." Ye Muchen handed over the twenty and thanked the driver as he went out the door.
He got an ID Card and showed the security to go through the doors. He went towards SNFX'S room, where they discussed their tactics one last time, but Muchen was stopped by a guard.
"You cannot enter. This is for the respective team only." Said the guard. "Oh, I was invited here by Mr. Yang Mingze. Call him out and ask him if you want."
The guard went in the team room and came out, "You can go in." and he opened the door for the visitor.
"Hey, you came." Said Yang Mingze with his left hand on Ye Muchen's shoulder. Muchen shrugged off his hand and said, "Transfer the money."
"Oh yes, I'll give you 800,000 instead." Said Yang Mingze excitedly, although he deal was 500,000. The money was transfered and Mingze offered a seat in front of all the members and beside the current captain, Li Xiang.
They discussed tactics while Ye Muchen sat quietly till he game started. He had gotten a seat in the middle row, 4C.
As the game started, the Female Commenter started, "Good evening everyone. Today will be the exciting finale match between two of the greatest teams."
"The first team is Team Blue Shine. They have won two trophies in LOACT and are the second best in terms of teamwork and leveling up."
"The second team is Team SNFX. They are the greatest of all the team's in terms of everything. They have won five continuous LOACT trophies and today it might be six."
Fans of both teams cheered for their bias or favourites. In LOA e-sports, fans never liked the team as a whole, but only supported who they liked the most, who would be the most talented player.
The commenter continued, "The first challenge will be the solo challenge. Team SNFX has chosen their first player to be Li Xiang, The Best Bottom." The fans cheered hard as Li Xiang's name was announced.
"Meanwhile, Team Blue Shine is sending Xu Yong, The Best Support."
Both of them knew the same lane with the back of their hand as they played in the same lane with just different positions. Unless, they changed their tactics.
They started off the game by choosing their characters. Li Xiang chose Anubis, who became extremely powerful when leveled up to 7 or above.
Xu Yong, chose Siren. A weird option for a support.
"Siren? Is Xu Yong okay? How can Siren be enough against Anubis, or is this a part of the plan?" Said the commenter.
Li Xiang, overconfident as ever, had a sly smile on his face thinking that he would win.
The game started and both the solo players waited 11 seconds and started running down the bottom lane, except Xu Yong. "Hey, where are you going? Are you scared already?" Said Li Xiang while chuckling.
"Somewhere special. Where you can't find me." Replied Xu Yong while concentrating on where he was going in the game.
The commenter stated, "Xu Yong is a very talented player and the strongest when he's in the bottom lane as the Support, but here, he had nobody to help him."
She continued, "I think he made the right choice by going in the Top lane instead."
Xu Yong went in the Top lane and started farming the minions. Meanwhile, Li Xiang who was confused, kept waiting for his enemy to come.
After about seven minutes, Xu Yong finally came to the bottom lane facing Li Xiang fiercely. If they did not attack each other in the next two minutes, they get a yellow card and be disqualified.
"So, are you ready now?"
