"Please, let's be together like before, especially for our daughter's happiness," Brandon pleaded, looking at Victoria who was hesitating with uncertainty inscribed all over her beautiful face. He reached for her hand, then kissed it gently before holding it. "My love for you has never decreased... And I know you feel the same way." He smiled reassuringly, although now he was very nervous, worried that she would reject him.
Victoria swallowed hard, very nervous, wanting to say yes but also afraid.
Drett... Drett...
Suddenly, there was a sound from Brandon's phone in his pants pocket. Victoria immediately pulled her hand away, letting Brandon take his phone and see the caller's name.
'Aurora... She's just a source of problem,' Brandon thought to himself, then quickly declined the call.
