Chapter 32 - A Basketball Match.

Zhao Yuhui absentmindedly roamed in the corridor of her university.

She was bunking her classes. It was all thanks to her sleep that she lost in the dawn.

Looking at the corridors and gardens that were unusually crowded, it seemed she wasn't the only one who had thought about ditching classes for the day.

Even so, all of them appeared to already know what they would be doing for the rest of the day to make up for the missed classes, unlike her who did not know what else to do to pass her time.

A basketball match was being held in the afternoon which was supposedly with the team of their 'rival university' according to what Xu Dong had told her. As a result, everyone, including those who did not belong to their university, were scattered out in anticipation.

She had heard that for the past four years, these both were the only teams competing against each other after making it to the finals. It had always been a nail-biting competition.

Anyway, being one of the main players from their team, Xu Dong had requested her to come.

And because it was the first time for her to get the opportunity, even she didn't shy away from accepting the invitation.

Zhao Yuhui would stay only till the mid match. She had not completely forgotten about the dinner that she had to attend tonight.

There was still two more hours to go for the match. In the meantime, she decided to go on a tour of her university.

Moreover, the university today was so crowded that no one would be paying heed to anyone hence making it easier for her to go around.

Their university was situated in the middle of the city and had several blocks designated for different branches. It was one of the oldest universities in the country and hence occupied a very large area among the most crowded part of the city. In contrast to the jittering outside, the area inside the university was quite peaceful.

The old architecture which was combined with the modern in-built facilities beautified the overall environment.

The university was quite vast. Zhao Yuhui could not look around the whole campus in a day even if she desired. It won't be possible.

In fact, the two hours were less even for her block. Zhao Yuhui would be content if she managed to see it within the left time.

There were certain blocks that she could still go to but more than them, there were those departments which required a pass.

Apart from the lecture halls, she had never even looked through the floors where her classes used to be. Zhao Yuhui blushed realising how embarrassing that would be if she told this to someone.

Just as Zhao Yuhui had walked in a particular direction, her feet stopped in front of a library. It was more like a small hut that was given its own space keeping the soft silence of the surrounding in mind. Her eyes had fallen upon it several times before, but she never got the chance to make a trip down here.

Even though there was hustle-bustle going around today, several youngsters were still moving in and out of this library. Seemed like not everyone was ignorant about the exams that were approaching.

Zhao Yuhui didn't go in as she was not here to pick up a book and read. Rather she turned on her heels while giving herself a mental note to return here sometime later.

Zhao Yuhui hurriedly grabbed something that she could munch upon while sauntering the long corridors and garden of this block. It was much bigger than she had thought. In the past, Zhao Yuhui used to think all these buildings were all about classes for the yearly students, but now it didn't seem the case anymore.

Soon, Zhao Yuhui came to stop in front of another building. It was quiet in the corner of their block where one would usually reach after walking for half an hour and taking several turns. It was more like the last place that one could get to in here.

Zhao Yuhui scrunched her brows and tilted her head to count the number of floors.

One. Two. Three. Four.

Four floors? What was this building for? No one was around and it was at the area where one couldn't just stumble by chance. If not for the well-cut small grass and cleanliness around the building, one could have easily thought this place to be deserted.

Seeing that no one was really around whom she could have asked, Zhao Yuhui depended upon herself and went inside.

With a smooth slide, the main entrance opened. The inside of the building...nothing was spectacular about it. It looked like other buildings which opened to two corridors with several doors and then the stairs at one of the corners to go to another floor.

This made Zhao Yuhui more confused. Except for the little detail that there were four doors on the ground floor in place of nine-ten doors, there was honestly nothing different. Then why was it giving off the aura of some mysterious place?

Zhao Yuhui randomly pushed one of the doors to take a quick peek without bearing much hope. She had thought it was going to be just another classroom however her eyes squinted only when she had closed back the door.

For real?

She hurriedly reopened the door and was astonished.

It was an auditorium! A huge one!

Zhao Yuhui had not heard someone mentioning the auditorium before so she never expected there to be one either.

Even with the lights off, she could tell it was magnificent. The rays of the sun entering through the ventilating windows had lit it enough to be perceived.

Zhao Yuhui caressed the folded red seats of the auditorium as she made her way to the stage. The numerous folded seats, vacant auditorium, and barely lit stage...she smiled as she was hit with nostalgia, once more.

When Zhao Yuhui was in high school, she would secretly go to their town's main auditorium hall where performances of cultural festivals used to held every once in a while. When there was no one around, she would step onto the stage and play out the role of random characters.

It was her way of preparing to enter the industry. Numerous practices in silence and dark only to get damn nervous in time of her first audition.

The auditorium was huge even if it was inside the building, probably containing around two thousand seats.
