PLANET FAE
The same planet that looked identical to Earth of the past,the small world was inhabited by three major races to be precise. The Elves,the Orcs,and the Faes.
The Elven race was a race with the most understanding of both mana and technology on FAE. They were brilliant and exceptional as they were the very first race to be able to imbue mana into technology thereby creating magic-technology in their world. This didn't mean they were not a friend of nature,on the contrary,they were believers of 'gods' who had great affinity with nature and worshipped in great devotion.
They had the smallest population in this planet. Their reproduction rate was lower compared to the other two races ,the ORCS and the FAES. This was due to the elves seeing their bloodlines as pure and superior compared to the other co-existent race on their world. Only by staying in seclusion and marrying within their own race could they keep the bloodline pure and uncontaminated by the outer world. The elves were then known for their racial discrimination against the other two major race,and mostly kept to themselves practicing racial endogamy.
The ORCS on the other hand,were the total opposite of the Elves. They were a race of crude and primitive beings. They lived in the wild,with little to no technology and were born warriors from the early stages of the Fae planet. They could be said to be the 'muscles without brain ' of the planet. Living in a kingdom of their own,the orcs had different tribes,each with different gods they believed and worship but only one major king. Their houses where made of mostly rocks and 'straws' for roof with only a few exceptions such as their temples and the king's castle.
They were babaric in nature with no regards for anything considered weaker than them,they were the natural enemy of the Elves and troublesome problem to the Faes.
The Orcs were hunters by nature,with the most of them having great undisputed strength,except for their priests also known as Shamans being the only ones among the race who were able to use a little magic and brain in exchange for the 'muscles'
Though the shamans were physically weaker,they commanded respect as high as the Orc king himself,afterall they were a devoted believer in 'the gods'.
One of the only few similarities between their race and the Elven race is their extreme territorial behavior,they also didn't welcome guests....'at least one's they deemed as weak...unlike someone' ;)
"....huff..huff....hufff.."
A girl with pointed ears and braided blonde hair kept running even as she was panting for air desperately. Jumping, swinging,and sprinting in the thick forest gracefully without slowing down made it seem like she was running on a smooth road. It was none other than the 'lucky' escapee Marlene. After seemingly losing her 'chasers' ,she didn't slow down to rest but continued on full speed ahead.
'i need to get home fast' she thought,as she slid under a low tree branch deciding to take the fastest route to her kingdom. After what seemed like forever, she arrived at a small clearing in the middle of the woods. There was nothing out of place in this jungle except that in the very middle of the clearing was an enormous oak tree that reached into the skies if viewed from afar. The tree was the biggest amongst all other tall trees in the woods ,it was magnificent looking if the person was a true nature lover.
It had green vines and moss growing all around it's wide thick trunk that could not be measured,it was huge. The clearing was surrounded by small shrubs,large colorful flowers and glowing mushrooms. Butterflies and other colorful bugs were
crawling all over giving the ancient looking tree a beautiful exotic background.
Marlene stopped running after getting here,she walked up to the giant tree looking tiny beside it and placed her hands on its trunk while closing her eyes.
A few seconds later,her body started glowing with green aura surrounding her,it grew as the seconds passed until ....[vrrrrrrr]
A vibrating sound was heard as she vanished from her spot leaving behind a dense green aura which later spreads into the surroundings giving it a magical glow that seem to enhance the plants all around.
In a crude looking castle far away from the elves holy forest, a dim light kept flickering on the wall of a big hall giving off just enough light to be able to make out shapes and outlines,not that it was much needed anyways. The tension in the hall was palpable,as a big muscular figure with white hair was kneeling before a throne made of smooth jade-like stones. The figure kept looking down to the ground the whole time,from an angle above one would notice a golden crown on the kneeling figures' head.
"[Hmm?....is she finally there?]" The throne wasn't empty as a deep malevolent voice rang out from there,due to the ambient lighting,one couldn't see this figure clearly only the silhouette,but red glowing eyes like that of boiling larva stood out the most
"[She has been in this area for over a few hours now...]" He said looking at a glowing orb clenched within his hand."[she must have reached the place...this is great,hahahaha]" he laughed,he finally achieved what he came here for."[m...my..lord,this.... have you finally found those elves hidden kingdom?]" The kneeling Orc king finally raised his head and said to the demon occupying his throne. Could the demon have achieved what his ancestors couldn't?.
"[Hm,go and get all your warriors ready for war,we will be paying the elves a visit]" he grinned,his smile reaching his ears,'hope the elven queen is as beautiful as he described' thinking this he stood up and stretched is body,headed into another chamber in the castle mumbling to himself"[looks like it's time to also call them]"...it was finally time for action.
The king dashed out immediately after receiving his order,he sent his guards to get the Shamans of the tribe and to tell them "it's time for war" .
Marlene appeared in a totally different place after she vanished from the woods. The place she appeared in was filled with a thick scent of nature, looking ahead she could see the beautiful scape of a kingdom from here in it's entirety. The houses, market place, town square.....even the great' Elven castle ' that was built into a similar gigantic tree she just left behind,only this one was even more massive. She couldn't help but breathe in the air before exhaling. She felt relaxed now that she was home . Not forgetting her mission, she headed towards the kingdom's gate immediately.
Getting there,she was greeted by elven guards who had questioning looks as she was the only one returning among the group of scouts. "[Welcome back Marlene...what of the others]" a handsome elf with lean muscles approached her,he was the chief guard ,his blonde hair fluttering in the wind made his curious green eyes attractive. "[Sir. Roman,I have important news that needs to be delivered to her Majesty immediately...]" She answered in a hurried tone,they were acquaintances."[the Empress?]" He was surprised, 'could something bad have happened?' he thought in doubt afterall they couldn't just demand an audience with the empress over trivial matters,which prompted him to ask "[please relax and explain the-]" "[they captured the other scouts!...a red-eyed being with horns on his head and the orcs were with him]" she cut him off before he could finish...but,"[did you just say red-eyes?]" He answered back in panic. The girl nodded affirmatively,that was her main concern, she's never heard or seen a red-eyed orc before. Which means her friends could be in untold danger than they might expect.
The chief turned and yelled "[get me a horse,now]" he seemed even more panicked than the girl. He was handed a strong looking horse,white and flawless..but now he didn't have the time to admire his favorite battle companion and hopped on directly with the girl and headed towards the ends of the kingdom where the castle stood.
Much later,after getting to their destination,they requested an audience with the empress and waited at the entrance to the massive tree for a feedback from the royal guard. They attracted the attention of the working maids and other workers of the palace,the guard returned, luckily the Empress was not busy and allowed their request.
Stepping into the castle or in this case tree,they were marveling at the sight before them, giant spacious hall that seemed so high,the walls didn't look like they were inside a tree,it was sparkling and reflecting their images like pure jades,the ground was the same, balls of light were floating close to the ceiling with nothing holding them in place.The place was quiet with a few maids going about their tasks,this place led to many other locations inside the castle as they passed many doors before reaching a massive double-doors.This amazed the visitors as they were led to another large room. Reaching the door that led to the next room,the guard left telling them to proceed on their own, Marlene stood stupefied,the huge doors were made of pure gold with a touch of royal reds adorning the golden large doors with intricate design, there were two pegasus,one on each side of the door standing on hind legs majestically with spread wings all in gold,the statues let out scanning lights from the eyes,standing there briefly, [creak] the doors opened on their own revealing to them a thick red large carpet with gold embroidery at the edges leading to stairs at the end of the room. This hall was even bigger than the last, different antiques were adorning the walls or standing alone. The place screamed royalty on the level of insanity,'how could a tree look this beautiful' Marlene thought but then something else caught her eyes,at the very end of the hall,above a flight of stairs, was the most beautiful creature she had ever seen. Adorned in pure white robes that covered a bountiful size of plump peaches which still couldn't hide them completely as the restrained mountains protested by spilling on the top, revealing a little cleavage which was snow white and even seemed to reflect the light,the face was cute with small pointed nose,small shiny pink lips, amethyst eyes and long lashes. With a small smile free of blemishes and healthy white in tone,she looked at her visitors one of which who kept staring at her voluptuous figure. The empress evoked contradictory feelings such as, pure and holy as well as carnal lust and debauchery. Marlene couldn't take her eyes off as even she a curvaceous straight female felt lust towards this person. She barely held on to her sanity. Sir. Roman on the other hand never made the mistake to glance at this person as he bowed his head immediately. Who would dare gaze at the Elven Empress...a look was all it took to make anybody become a dog in heat..... and finally end up dead..he was not risking his life just yet.
Meanwhile Marlene remained in a daze until....
"[* Cough*, please maintain your behavior before the empress]" another curvaceous blonde,who was standing beside the empress spoke. She happened to be the empress' assistant who brought back the lost Marlene from her trance. Marlene didn't even notice the fourth person in the room,the empress totally eclipsed her existence there. Blushing from embarrassment she apologized bowing her head "[your majesty... please forgive my shameful misconduct just now]".
Still smiling,she answered politely "[it's okay ....you aren't the first to lose composure]" without losing her noble aura ,she teased Marlene in order to ease any building tension. 'This is why she is loved by all'... Marlene thought inwardly. "[State your business with her Majesty.]" The assistant chirped in once again,thereby reminding Marlene her purpose in the first place.
Here,the only man in the room voiced out "[your majesty....I came here escorting this miss who has important news to report to your majesty,if it was a trivial matter. I would've handled it,but....the news is actually disturbing]" the chief guard said looking at the stairs and not at the empress in anyway
"[Alright Sir. Roman....Let her speak..] the empress replied,a smile still hanging on her lips. Looking at Marlene now she nodded lightly.
"[Your Majesty, I'm one of the scouts that was ordered to check the holy forests because of the strange behavior of the beasts ,while scouting we encountered an ambush from the Orcs..]"
"[Oh?...the orcs are trespassing again?...]" The empress smiled mysteriously as a condescending gaze flickered across her face,but only for a brief moment.
"[We fought against them but before we could overpower them, a noble rank orc came to join the battle....]" She paused.
"[Those muscle brains just don't know what's good for them.]" the assistant said.
Marlene then shook her head saying ....
"[But the disturbing thing ...your majesty,I saw a black being who had a pair of horns on his head,black charred body,but the most unsettling is that...this person has a pair of red eyes,he single-handedly captured the others...only I was able to escape.. because the others sacrificed themselves to battle...]".
"[WHAT, R...RED EYES?]" for the first time in a long time both the empress and assistant had their demeanor shattered.
