"Let's head over to my cabin and check out the rest of these files while Aaron handles the twins. We may need more evidence to put them away for good" I suggested to Anthonia after we left Noah's cabin and she agreed
We reached my cabin, and I swung the door open, letting Anthonia step inside first. The place was a mess—papers strewn across the desk, the bed half-made with my laptop tossed on it. Anthonia glanced at me, her eyes narrowing slightly as she assessed the state of the cabin.
"You can't blame me, I was being blackmailed by them, I needed to lash out my anger. Let's get to work," I said, brushing a pile of clothes off a chair and motioning for her to sit. "Aaron's handling the twins. We need to dig through these files and see what else we can find."
She nodded, setting down her bag and opening her laptop. We dove in, flipping through files and photos, the glow of the screen casting harsh shadows on our faces.
