"Laura is in real trouble," I paced around the room. "What if the payer decides to kill her?"
"Aaron, I really think you should calm down. Walking around the room won't solve anything. This place could be bugged so the payer could be hearing whatever plans we make to get Laura back. Do you have a safer place?" Anthonia whispered
"Yeah, come with me." I whispered back and walked out of Laura's cabin.
Anthonia packed all the files and followed me. I led her to a private room. It had been a while since I had been fine there since I knew about the twins.
I flashed my key card on the card reader, and the door opened. We walked in and saw Jude sitting down, fully absorbed in his laptop.
"Hey boss. I just contacted Kessler and Noah's lawyer, and we scheduled a face time to discuss their issue next week," he said as soon as he saw me.
