Detective Walker
I opened the door of my cabin to go after Laura
"Hey, Laura wait" I called out and she stopped
I was so dizzy and everything around me was rotating
She turned around to face me "She's no one to me. I don't even know how this happened" I started explaining
They were unshed tears at the corner of her eyes
"Why are you explaining yourself to me, Aaron. We're not together or anything like that, I don't even care" she laughed but I could tell that deep down she was hurt "Go have your fun, we'll meet up at work tomorrow"
With that she walked away and I staggered my way back to my cabin. Eva was still lying down on my bed. I took the sofa and just drifted off to sleep
