I headed to Noah's cabin unannounce. I didn't knock. There was no need to announce myself. My heart pounded as I made my way up to Noah's cabin, each step heavier than the last. The ship's narrow corridors seemed to close in around me, the dim lighting casting long, shadowy trails that made my mind race with possibilities. This wasn't a social visit.

I reached his door and hesitated for a fraction of a second before pushing it open. The cabin was dark, the curtains drawn, and a faint scent of cologne lingered in the air—his scent, familiar yet suddenly unsettling. I had to be quick.

I slipped inside, closing the door quietly behind me. The silence was oppressive, broken only by the gentle hum of the ship as it cut through the water. I needed to stay focused. If Noah was really Reyes, he was dangerous, and I was risking everything by being here alone.
