Zhen looked at his status panel and chuckled a bit.

"I can't remember when the last time I used this many agility points. The first time I kill a heroes, maybe."

He touch the slashed wounds on his chest and abdomen that continued to bleed.

"Point shifter, Max strength."

All his status points shifted to Strenght and left only 1 point each for Agility and Intelligent.

Zhen sat down slowly and tried to catch his breath and let [HP regen] heal him. After almost 10 minutes, he began to feel his body getting better, but the wounds on his chest and abdomen had yet to close.

"Point Shifter, Max intelligent."

"Level 4 spell, 80% spell amplifier, Greater healing."

The wounds on his body closed in an instant, but he felt a little dizzy and his vision blackened.

"Point shifter, default."

His head was still dizzy but at least his vision wasn't black. He stood up rather staggeringly and took out a shovel from his [ Inventory ] and dug into the ground. After a few exhausting minutes, he managed to dig a fairly deep hole.

With heavy breathing, he collected the body parts, internal organs and bones that were scattered around and put them into the hole.

After stuffing all the pieces of flesh, he picked up Reginald's head that was no longer intact to his body. He threw it into the hole and then sat on the edge of the hole with very irregular breathing pace and a pale face.

Zhen took out a sapphire necklace from his pocket and looked at the hole containing Reginald's severed body.

"Sapphire stones can be fairly expensive and are good for catalyzing the forging process of high-end magic weapons," Zhen said while looking at the beautiful necklace.

"But unfortunately the deal is only magic swords," Zhen threw the necklace into the pit.

He stood up and buried the hole then placed a tombstone on top of it. Zhen's knees trembled and he collapsed.

"Looks like the effects are starting to kick in."

Zhen's [Point shifter] is indeed versatile. But using it consecutively can have adverse effects. Loss of consciousness, coma, temporary paralysis, permanent paralysis and even death.

Fortunately this time, he didn't use it more than 10 times in one day, so he could breathe a sigh of relief as his vision faded by second and he eventually lost consciousness.

"Mr. Zhen... Mr. Zhen... Mr. Zhen..."

Zhen slowly opened his eyes and found Zaltar patting his cheek.

"Good, you're awake. I was worried earlier," said Zaltar who sat beside Zhen who was still lying limp.

The sky was already dark and he could see a collection of stars shining brightly.

"Can you move, Mister Zhen?"

Zhen tried to move his body but it was useless, he could only move his fingers and mouth.

"Too bad, you have to carry me," Zhen said, laughing a little.

Zaltar sighed and put Zhen on his back, "I don't know what happened, but at least something big must have happened."

Zhen chuckled. "Hehe... Sorry for the trouble. I found something interesting earlier."

The two left the site, where Reginald was buried. On his tombstone was a sentence that was written using magic and made it glow slightly and surely the word would never disappear.

 [ Reginald of Eleindal

The world's strongest swordsman ]

----------------------------------------

While on the trip back to the hut, Zhen a bit curious and asking something, "I kinda curious, why do you come and help me. In my condition right now, you could easily run away and i can't chase you."

Zaltar stop and just standing still, "You know, Mister Zhen, at first i really hate you because you ruined my life."

"Right? You have so many reason to abandoned me. So why?"

Zaltar didn't response while he reminiscing, a short time with this elf give him much of life lesson and for oddly reason he is growing as a person, but at the same time, this elf took his leg and his hand. A very mixed feeling indeed.

"I don't know why, Mister Zhen. But one thing for sure, i know it's not that bad to accompany you in this trip."

Zhen just smiled and chuckled a bit, "I see..."

"Beside, I knew you can fully recovered in one day. I don't think 1 day is enough to ran away from you," Zaltar said jokingly while laughing.

"I guess, you are right," Zhen replied with a little smile on his face.

"Haha, but still. No matter how strong you are, chasing a carriage after 1 day gap is impossible, right?"

Zhen didn't replied, he just smiled in silent.

"Mister Zhen, I am joking, you can't possibly do that, right?"

No answer from this silver haired elf and make this limped man sweating in panic immediately.

"Mister Zhen, please say something!"

Both of them arrived at the place where they would rest, a small hut with only wooden pillar and a hole in the roof thanks to Zaltar's actions.

In front of the hut, the two horses were sleeping, not bound by the cart, but their necks tied to one of the trees to keep them from running away.

Beside them were a few skewers of meat burning on a sizable campfire. The meat was perfectly safe when Zaltar left it to look for Zhen as the elf's wolves kept watch around it.

Zaltar looked around and found a dead man lying not far from the campfire.

"Uhm... Did you kill him?" asked Zaltar looking at the wolf.

The wolf only nodded once and the one-legged man remained silent as he laid Zhen down near the campfire.

"Mister Zhen, your wolf is very smart and very similar to you."

Zhen just laughed as he looked up at the sky. "Looks like he's useful indeed, I'll keep him as official pet from now on."

The wolf's tail wagged quickly upon hearing that.

"By the way, can you do something for me?"

"Yes?"

"Can you throw that dead body away? I don't want to sleep with the smell of carrion."

"Haha, a person who likes to kill is afraid to sleep with a corpse? It feels a little strange."

"Unfortunately killing is not my hobby, it's just a method to solve my problems."

"Wanting peace but killing others as a method, you are quite strange," replied Zaltar who immediately picked up the dead man that the wolf had killed and threw it as far as possible.

"Can you move or do need some help?" asked Zaltar taking one of the roast meat.

"I think I can eat by myself, give it to me," replied Zhen forcing his right hand to move.

"Go ahead." Zaltar handed over the roast that had cooled a bit because of the wind.

"Thank you," replied Zhen who took it with his right hand and chewed immediately.

The three ate and spent another peaceful night. After finishing the meal, Zaltar was already preparing to taking a sleep position. The wolf was still awake.

"He is very diligent, I feel very safe because someone wants to guard tonight," Zaltar said with a little laugh.

"Haha, you're right. With my current condition, I'm grateful to have a guard. Someone could kill me in this condition," Zhen continued, which made the wolf raise his head even more proudly while wagging his tail.

After a while, Zhen had fallen asleep, followed by Zaltar about an hour later. The wolf kept watch for another three hours and then went to sleep once it was sure there were no threats around.

About 500 meters from where they were resting, two people were watching them from one of the tall trees.

Both wore hoods and all-covering clothing. Rows of sharp knives hung from their bodies and chain scythes hung next to their waists.

Their eyes were glowing and there were runes written around their eyes. Both were using reconnaissance magic that helped them see from a distance in the darkness of the night.

"So that's the person the kingdom fears the most? He doesn't look very strong."

"Of course, Reginald made this too easy."

"Let's kill him now."

The two did not take their eyes off their target but just as they were about to move, Zhen opened his eyes spontaneously and looked at the two, from 500 meters away.

It was a murderous gaze that was so powerful, it forced the two assassins to freeze.

Zaltar and the wolf instantly woke up to Zhen's killing aura.

"What's wrong? Enemy?!" asked Zaltar who immediately stood up.

The wolf also stood up and looked around very warily. Neither of them sensed anyone's presence and looked at Zhen.

"Hehe, sorry, I'm thirsty," Zhen laughed with a big smile on his face.

"DON'T SCARE US!"

Zaltar punched Zhen in the head while the wolf bit Zhen's leg.

Meanwhile, the two assassins who were supposed to come kill Zhen had run away with cold sweat pouring all over their bodies.

The two were chatting with each other while running as fast as they could.

"What the hell was that?! It's 500 meters away! And he's paralyzed!"

"I feel like if we move forward even for one step, he'll kill us right there immediately."

"How can he do that in that condition?"

"I don't know, but my hands are still shaking at the thought."

"He's a monster."

The two assassins had disappeared into the forest, while Zhen was subjected to inhumane treatment.

Zaltar poured a bucket of water over Zhen's face that was facing toward the sky.
