Zero quickly ran through the curtain and was almost immediately hit by a stray shot of electricity that flew past his head.
"What the-?!"
He turned from the smoldering spot on the wall to where it came from.
Silas had indeed arrived, at least Zero thought so. He didn't have his hood up but he didn't recognize the face at all. That would explain the boom they heard inside the forge though; but Kai had already engaged him - probably to keep him from interrupting them, Zero figured. He was about to decide on a surprise attack, but paused before doing so.
Kai was doing just fine on his own.
Silas darted to stay just out of Kai's reach, but Kai was on the offensive with his energy sword. Silas's robe had a cut near the shoulder - Kai appeared to be unharmed.
Hmm. I suppose he didn't really lose against Silas last time. Zero thought. He just had his friends jump him in the end.
