Chapter 38: Something's Wrong
Dr. Einstein's mind was racing, trying to make sense of everything that was happening. First, there was the disappearance of Kiara, his star patient. Then, there was the mysterious attack on Enzo, who was now fighting for his life in the hospital. And finally, there was the strange phone call from a number that seemed to be connected to Kiara. He felt like he was missing something, like there was a piece of the puzzle that he couldn't quite put his finger on.
The last words of the caller echoed in his mind: "I found this phone in the woods." Dr. Einstein's heart jumped as he recalled the voice's menacing tone. He had tried to call the number again after the conversation ended, but the phone was switched off. He had called a few more times since then, but the phone always went straight to voicemail. He was starting to fear the worst.
