Chapter 43: Plans to Meetup
The doctor's hands shook as he watched the video, his mind racing. He felt like he was having a nightmare, even though the events on the screen were real. "What's wrong, doctor?" Mrs. Morgan asked, concern in her voice. The doctor's expression must have been more frightening than he realized.
He motioned for Mrs. Morgan to come closer, and she did so without hesitation. He held out his phone, showing her the video. Her eyes widened, her mouth dropping open in shock. "No, this can't be true," she said, tears welling up in her eyes. "That can't be Kiara." Her voice cracked as she spoke, her disbelief and pain evident.
"How could this be happening?" she asked, her voice growing louder and more distressed. "She was fine when she left the house. Something must have gone wrong." Tears streamed down her face, and she couldn't control her sobs. The sound of her anguish brought the maids running to see what was wrong.
