Chapter 25: Dada or Momma?
As Enzo listened to his wife's conversation, everything started to make sense. "She's being blackmailed by her ex with a sex tape?" he thought, his blood boiling with rage. "How could he do that to her?"
He quickly backed away from the window when he saw the silhouette of his wife heading in his direction. He pretended to be coming from elsewhere and put on a cheerful face as he approached her.
"Kenneth said 'dada'!" he told her excitedly, watching her face light up in disbelief.
"You're joking, right?" she asked, giving him a skeptical look. "He's only four months old – how could he possibly say that?" Despite her previous distress, she couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation.
"Say it again, buddy!" he said, turning to his son. "Say 'dada'!" The baby smiled and repeated the word, this time with more confidence. "Dada!" he said, his eyes shining with pride.
