Chapter 24: Dangerous Sentiments
His eyes drifted from the picture to the laptop sitting on the desk. He reached over and picked it up, his heart racing as he read the message on the screen. "If you want to save your name, meet me at Leonard's Tunnel or call this number," it read. His eyes widened in anger as he realized what this meant.
Just as Enzo was about to make a decision, the bathroom door creaked open, bringing him back to the present. He jumped to his feet as the last thing he wanted was for his wife to find out he had already seen the picture and video. But he knew he had to get to the bottom of this, and he wouldn't stop until he found out the truth.
He quickly stood up from the bed and slipped out of the room, making sure not to make a sound. He had saved the number from the laptop to his phone, and was now ready to strike at the right time.
