Chapter 27 - Zombie Knight

"You bastard… I will kill you!"

"Waahh… I am so scared, look at my knees shaking."

The orcs around looked pretty pissed as well… for them, what I was doing was pretty cowardly. Well, from my perspective, using a massive axe agaisnt someone who was using bone swords was also cowardly, so we were even.

In any case, Gorgo was having a hard time holding such a large axe with fewer fingers, so the end of the battle was pretty close. So, I decided to entertain that retard and his arm of morons in the fighting style that they wanted.

After activating Aura of Hatred again, I charged toward Gorgot and he tried to use his axe as shield, but I dropkicked it and made him take several steps backward. When I landed, I charged again and used another barrage of trust attacks at the axe only. Gorgo tried to protect his fingers, but that only made his stance more messy.

All of a sudden, one of the bones swords cracked and then Gorgo used that change to swing his ax horizontally with all his might… I tried to block the weapon with a cross guard, but then the cracked sword broke and the other cracked as well.

In that moment, everyone began to shout and cheer, it seemed that they thought that I was done for… Gorgo swung his axe once again and I jumped backward while trying to block the attack… the weapons collided and half of the sword broke again… Still, when Gorgo moved his ax backward to a full swing, I just threw my bone sword at his right eye… the weapon pierced with ease…

"Arrgghh!"

Gorgo flinched after groaning in pain… blood began to gush out from the wound and he actually went as far as pulling the weapon immediately… making him hold the ax with a single hand. When he opened his other eye, he saw me with another bone sword swinging it down and then chopping off the fingers of the other hand, making the ax fall on the ground.

After grunting again, Gorgo charged and tried to punch me, but I blocked his fist with the point of my sword. The weapon pierced deeply and Gorgo shook from head to toe… when I pulled the weapon, he started to shake like a leaf thanks to the pain…

"That is enough internet for today, now I will wash myself with holy water to get rid myself of all the stupidity I have seen today."

With both hands compltely useless, Gorgo didn't have anything to use anymore… after such a battle, he just accepted his defeat and then I just cut his throat… after bleeding for several seconds while standing and glaring at me, he fell backwards and eventually died.

{The Sin of Gluttony received 5000 experience points.}

{The Sin of Wrath received 5000 experience points.}

{The Sin of Gluttony leveled up. Spirit has increased by ten points.}

{The Sin of Gluttony reached level ten . You have learned the skill Lesser Vampirism.}

{Lesser Vampirism: you can drink the blood of your foes to recover health, the level of the skill determines the value of health recovered per second.}

A clear change began to take hold. Slowly, almost imperceptibly at first, my bones began to shift and warp, the once rigid framework of my skeletal form yielding to the decay of undeath.

From the depths of my empty eye sockets, a sickly green glow flickered to life, casting an eerie pallor over my hollow visage. The bones themselves seemed to soften and contort, their surfaces marjed by the telltale signs of decay as flesh and sinew began to appear around them.

With each passing moment, the transformation accelerated, its progress hastened by the dark magic that permeated my body. Where once stood a proud and fearsome skeletal knight now emerged a twisted form of my former self, a zombie knight, my flesh pallid and rotting, my movements almost jerky and unnatural.

"I am starting to feel things again… like hunger. Shit, do I have to drink monster's blood as a part of my skills?"

While I was wondering about that, the orcs were completely silent while watching the body of their previous leader. I would say that I won fair and square, we didn't determine any rules beforehand, after all. Besides, I didn't pick that fight.

While the orcs were astonished, I moved and then grabbed the axe of the orc chieftain… it was a bit heavy, but I still could use. Subjugating them with that kind of weapon should help. If not, then it will help on beheading them.

"All right, are you guys going to obey me or are you going to become test subjects of my newest weapon?"

"Who do you think you are, strutting around like you own the place? Get off your high horse!"

"Don't flatter yourself thinking you're better than everyone else. You're nothing but a fool."

"Keep acting like you're hot stuff, but you're just a pathetic wannabe."

"You're not as clever as you think you are. Your arrogance is sickening."

"Quit acting so smug. You're not impressing anyone with your inflated ego."

"Wow, your insults changed quite a bit huh? I guess your balls fell alongside your leader here."

"Die!!!"

The orcs had enough and then charged at me with all of their might… that was going to take a while, but I would welcome the level ups.
