The second floor was the same as the previous one, at least in terms of design, but the corridors were a bit larger. Probably in order to help the goblins spearman.
Just like before, the first creature emerged from the floor like a ninja, and he was already in a fighting stance. I dashed and then kicked the ground with all my might to jump toward him, and he tried to stab me before I could reach him, but I parried the attack with my sword and then hit his chin with the handle of the sword. While the monster was staggering, I sliced his throat with my sword, and the creature began to agonize while blood was gushing from the wound.

"Pride now, huh? By the way, what sins can you use? I have the feeling that Sloth, Envy, and Lust would agree with you."
"Those are the worst and the least compatible with me. Revealing this kind of information is a no-go for monsters. Anyway, with a functioning mind, I can tell why."
It makes sense… it would be easy to tell the weaknesses of someone based on that. I couldn't tell if the abilities of people would be solely based on their sins, even though we were all monsters, and that would make sense… in any case, before long, another goblin spearman showed up, and he was quickly disposed of… I wondered why the fuck those guys were so full of themselves. Slimes were more challenging than that.

I felt a bit stronger once more, and the feeling of being alive like never before reinvigorated me. The idea of grinding on that floor for a while to increase my survivability was quite appealing, but I could worry about that later… I wanted to find something more exciting to keep me entertained in the dungeon. Still, I found it pretty fun to break the enemy's weapons and then slice their heads soon afterward.
"Is that how bullies usually feel?"
"Why are you asking such a stupid thing out loud?"
"Well, I am so sorryyyy for asking something stupid."
"Your actions are quite weird now that you lost your memories."
Putting that aside, I made the sin of pride reach level four on that floor. Considering my geek knowledge, I had the feeling that something interesting would happen if I reached level five, but I decided to go down to the next floor since I could do the same thing on the way back. While I knew that I was doing something risky after just being reborn as a skeleton at that, my sense of danger and fear of death had decreased quite a bit.
The next floor didn't change either, but I had the feeling that the atmosphere changed somehow. Something was off about that floor… I soon confirmed that when I realized that no monster had spawned yet, even though it had happened pretty soon in the other levels.
"What is wrong here? Does each floor have a limit on how many monsters they can produce?"
"Who knows?"
"You know, jackass."
Roskarl Shrugged, and I decided to leave that asshole alone. Something interesting to him and annoying to me was supposed to happen, and I soon had a good idea what it was when I saw for the first time the corridor splitting to left and right… I looked at Roskarl once more, and he just showed a calm smile.
"Do you think that I was born yesterday?"
"If compared to me, that would be a clear and precise estimation."
I put the sword away and then grabbed the bow… after nocking an arrow and checking the string for a bit, I soon felt comfortable with it and then proceeded to the split part of the corridor. Without hesitation, I turned to the right side with the bow ready to be used, and then I found a goblin archer there… immediately, I shot my arrow, and then the projectile flew and hit the enemy's forehead when it aimed at me.

I couldn't help but smile, but soon I heard a hissing sound from behind, and then I felt a sharp pain and a push on my back… when I looked in that direction, I found another goblin Archer there.
"Son of a bitch… that hurt!"
I nocked another arrow, and the enemy did the same. In the end, we fired our arrows at the same time, and we even lowered our postures to avoid the attack, but I expected that he would do that… and the enemy didn't…
The goblin archer was hit in the chest while I avoided the hit… that had been fortunate since I had lost one-third of my health already. The enemy began to shake in pain but soon tried to fire another arrow… but I put an arrow on its head.

{The Sin of Sloth leveled up. Charisma has increased by two points.}
"Charisma, huh… I don't really care about this."
As someone who proudly survived high school without having a single friend, I truly didn't want to become charismatic to make others like me. There were some people that I could have become good friends with since they were outsiders on the main social groups of the school as well, but they also ostracized me since they didn't want to become a laughing stock by proxy. When someone smiles, it is easier to smile as well. When someone laughs at someone else, the same thing could be applied there. Well, the fact that I was always scowling didn't help, so I can accept that I was half to be blamed for it.
"Hmm, I am quite skilled, don't you think?"
"Even though you lost your memories, you still have your experience and instincts. Something like hitting some enemies ten meters away is nothing compared to what you could do before."
