Chapter 5 - Harry’s experiences at Moonlight Castle

"I'm going out," Felix Peregrine said as he picked up a small box, opened the door to the wilderness, and bid goodbye to Harry. "Work hard. If you don't understand anything, ask Lucifer."

"Yes, Uncle Felix," Harry nodded.

Watching Felix leave, Harry turned to Lucifer and inquired, "Mr. Lucifer, where is Uncle Felix going?"

Lucifer replied lazily, "He should be hiding in the castle to avoid being discovered by others. I saw him taking a box of silver chalk."

"What is silver chalk?" Harry asked, intrigued.

"It's chalk made of silver powder with a special adhesive added to it. Silver powder has strong magical conductivity, so this thing is very useful when drawing some short-term magic circles," Lucifer explained patiently.

"How do you want to clean up this mess?" Lucifer suddenly asked.

Harry turned back, glanced at the messy living room, scratched his head, and said, "First, stack all the books, then clear away the clutter, and finally, throw away the unnecessary trash."

Lucifer nodded, then suddenly remembered, "By the way, you have a colleague."

"Colleague?"

There was a sudden rustling sound, and the broom that had been leaning behind the door suddenly started running with the broom head underneath, even jumping when it met the small stairs of the entrance.

"Is this?!" Harry suddenly felt that he was no longer so surprised. For this entire castle, a walking broomstick was not surprising...

"It's a broomstick," Lucifer explained.

"A flying broomstick?!" Harry's eyes widened as he stared at it. This guy was covered in dust, and there were many spider webs on the head of the broom. It looked no different from the Dursleys' brooms.

"That's right, this Felix grabbed... ahem, gifts given to him by others. But Felix usually doesn't use them, so I let him sweep the floor when he has nothing to do."

Harry couldn't help himself and reached out his hand. Unexpectedly, the broom suddenly twisted and avoided him.

"It will sweep the floor by itself. So you can throw the garbage on the ground, and it will clean it up when the time comes," Lucifer explained before urging, "Let's get started. If you don't know whether you should throw something away, you can ask me."

"Okay," Harry nodded, rolled up his sleeves, and started cleaning.

Lucifer observed this and slowly narrowed his eyes. On weekdays, his biggest hobbies were sleeping, robbing, and burning. Recently, the latter had not been possible, so he usually just slept.

Not long after he narrowed his eyes, Harry's voice suddenly sounded, "Mr. Lucifer, what is this? Can you throw it?"

Harry picked up a small pile of parchment filled with symbols he couldn't understand, along with some graffiti or formations.

"Those are Felix's manuscripts. Put them all together and wait for him to deal with them," Lucifer instructed.

Harry nodded, put Felix's manuscripts in one place, and started cleaning the table again.

"What is this?" Harry picked up another flattened leaf that had been placed beneath a book.

"This... seems to be just a potion ingredient. Throw it away," Lucifer replied.

"What's this?"

"What is this?" Harry found another palm-sized stone pendant with a hollow center and a hole as big as an eye.

"That's the Apparition Stone, and it's together with the book 'Arthur Spedwick's Illustrated Instructions: How to Enter the Fantasy World Surrounding You' next to your left hand," Lucifer explained, sounding a little helpless and his tone becoming more and more lazy.

"Of course, I don't know what you can see with it in this world. It was left behind by Felix from a previous adventure," he added.

Harry was a little stunned when he heard this. He placed his eyes on the Apparition Stone without risking anything and put the things away honestly.

During this period, Harry kept curiously asking Lucifer various questions, and although Lucifer looked lazy, he did not reject him, and he obviously had enough patience.

It wasn't until Harry picked up a grimoire made of human skin that Lucifer was startled, and most of his curiosity was driven away. Lucifer finally calmed down.

What Harry didn't expect was why Uncle Felix, who looked so solemn and solemn, had such a messy home.

Isn't there a corresponding home magic?

If Felix knew about Harry's thoughts, he might really have to spread his hands in apology, but he really didn't!

I don't know how much time passed, but when Lucifer opened his eyes again, Harry was mopping the floor. Dozens of huge books were piled in the corner according to size, and various sundries were placed on the table.

The remaining dishes and utensils in the restaurant had been cleaned, and the sofa cushions were thrown into the washing machine. At the same time, two large bags of garbage had been cleaned out and left at the door.

"Ah~ I feel much more comfortable," Lucifer remarked as he picked up firewood from one side and placed it under him, sighing contentedly. "This guy Felix used to complain that Hal was a lazy dog. Who would have thought that not long after that, he would turn into the most annoying person he had ever been."

Seeing Lucifer open his eyes, Harry turned his head and asked, "Mr. Lucifer, what is the name of this castle?"

"Name..." Lucifer pondered for a moment and realized that in his memory, this castle had no name. It was even said that there was no need to name the castle.

"There is no name," Lucifer shook his head. "But when we were in the Caribbean, this place was not a castle, but a ship. It was named 'Moonlight Queen.' So you can also call this place Moonlight Fort."

"Moonlight Queen... why does it sound so strange? It's not intimidating at all," Harry remarked, feeling puzzled. Shouldn't the ship be named something like Trafalgar, Sovereign, or Victory?!

Hearing Harry's question, Lucifer chuckled, "You see, that is the title of a royal ship. Pirates wouldn't name their ships with such a name. The style of pirate ship names at that time were names like the Black Pearl, Queen Anne's Revenge, and Silent Mary."

"That's right..." Harry nodded, beginning to understand.

Harry's hands and feet were indeed very fast, but the workload in the entire living room was too huge. In the evening, Felix returned again. After dinner, he walked into the basement with a bunch of books.

Meanwhile, Harry continued cleaning up the coal ash and chopping wood for Lucifer. There was also dust accumulated in various corners, and it wasn't until a long time later that he was able to clean the entire living room.

Felix walked up from the basement with a book in hand, took out a golden pocket watch, and glanced at the time. It was past nine o'clock at night.

"It seems that I won't have the chance to play magic with you today. You have to go home, kid," he said with a smile.

Harry also felt a little disappointed, but he didn't think there was anything wrong with it. On the contrary, he enjoyed it, and the various books and miscellaneous items had opened the door to a new world for him.

He could feel that there were still too many secrets waiting for him to discover in the entire Moonlight Castle.

Of course, the prerequisite was that he must do his job well.

This was ten thousand times better than being a servant in the Dursley family!
