Six months later...
For six months, Luke and I have been traveling in circles around the Devereaux castle, but there's no trace of Keith. It's as if he turned into a thin mist that has vanished into the air.
I sit down abruptly on an old tree trunk in the forest. There's nothing but animals, plants, and bugs for miles around, and I know this because of my spiritual sight (or rather the little I've managed to develop without a master specialized in it). I know I need to improve my abilities to the fullest before facing Keith, but what makes me doubt that any of my attempts will be enough is knowing that he will be the cause of the end of this world as we know it. So, will I really be able to face him alone?
