You can take her with you," Logan said. He turned his back to them.
Margaret beckoned to Selene to follow her. The crescent moon light cast its silvery glow on the two women.
"I need to teach you how to control your energy but we don't have much time. We need to get there fast," Margaret said and Selene didn't interject.
Selene walked briskly towards the old house located not too far from the council house. Margaret pushed the door open and they were actually different people lying on the floor with wounds on their bodies.
"You can all leave," Margaret told the Omega present in the room and they all went out.
Selene felt the corner of her eyes fill with tears when she saw the way the people groaned in agony. She knelt before one of the men, and the fresh blood still dripped from his stomach.
"Take a deep breath in and exhale," Margaret instructed Selene.
Selene shut her eyes, took a deep breath, and exhaled.
