Synopsis
A cheating boyfriend and a traitorous best friend had always been a cliché start to a story. Fil often thought those things only happened in such narratives. Who would have thought this same cliché twist would happen to her? Fil was a devout Christian who held marriage and marital fidelity sacred. She had been a very good girl from childhood to adulthood. But when she caught her childhood sweetheart slash fiancé and her best friend rolling under the sheets, Fil wanted to rebel for the first time. The first step of her rebellious journey? Getting drunk. After drowning her sorrows with the help of alcohol, Fil met the enigmatic Jackson. The moment her eyes met those tantalizing golden orbs, words slipped past her lips without any notion of the kind of situation she was getting herself into: “Will I go to hell if I lose my virginity before marriage?” His thin, red lips curled up as a glint flickered across his naturally sharp eyes, and he said, “Who knows? But I can bring heaven to you if you want me to.” ***** Jackson. A man shrouded in mystery and secrets, licentious to the core with zero morality, someone who had grown bored playing games with life. Until one fateful night, a woman suddenly appeared before him — a perfect prey for a boring night. Little did he know, a night with a rebellious wannabee wouldn’t be enough to quench his biological urge. Nor would he ever fathom the colors she gave to his gray-colored world. A good girl with dirty thoughts and a sinful man who had even dirtier thoughts. A relationship that started for revenge and to satisfy one’s need; was there even space for true love? How? When the man bending her down would nastily whisper in her ear, “You've been a fucking good girl.” **** As the two grapple with their own demons threatening to tear them apart, doubts would start surfacing in their hearts. Was this rebellion worth sacrificing her principles for? Could she truly find happiness in the arms of a man so steeped in darkness? And for Jackson, was redemption possible for a devil like him? And if so, would she be the one to lead him towards the light? Would she even accept his darkest secrets and the hell of his world? In a world where trust was a rare commodity and love was a fragile flame, Fil and Jackson would have to navigate the treacherous waters of desire and redemption. Would they face the unknown together? Or would they let go to save themselves from the impending pain of being together? **** JOIN MY DISCORD SERVER: https://discord.gg/gXCMQwmrGY Spanish translation of this book is also available on Webnovel . Chapter 1 - Prologue: Cinderella's Dead Now

Moans and grunts echoed in the room as two people tangled in a round of passion. Their bodies moved in the sink, skin dripping with sweat. Her nails left scratches on his broad back while his lips left its marks on her neck and collars.

Her lips parted as she cocked her head back, arching her spine, and curling the sheet with her toes. She intuitively pressed a hand on his shoulder, only for the man to take her wrist over her head. They rocked each other's bodies, becoming one in mind, soul, and heart.

Locked in such a passionate round, the woman's lustful eyes glinted. She slid her eyes to the corner, only to catch another man standing by the door motionlessly.

"Fil…" the man standing by the door called listlessly. His breath hitched as the woman locked eyes with him, only to moan louder as the movement down her waist grew aggressive.

"Ahh…!" Fil squirmed underneath the man's body, cupping his face and lifting her head to claim his lips. The man engaging with her grunted in her mouth, embracing her tightly as both of them reached climax.

"Hah." The man panted for air, placing his palm on the side of her head. His pair of topaz gleamed as he smiled, planting a soft peck on her lips, before pushing himself off of her. As soon as he did, he rested his back against the headboard and caught the person standing by the door.

"Oh?" the man with a beautiful pair of golden eyes smiled in surprise. "We have a visitor? Had you been standing there all this time?"

He cocked his head to the woman beside him. "Did you invite him to watch us?"

"No." Fil smiled as she flung her legs out of the bed, still keeping the blanket over her chest to cover her body while picking up her dress from the floor. She tossed the manly clothes to the guy on the bed, smiling. "I think we picked the wrong room. My room is probably next to his."

"Oh!" The man nodded, lips apart as he gazed at the man by the doors. "We got a little excited, huh? Hmm. What are you going to do now? Your fiance looks... shocked."

"Fiance?" Fil blinked as she cast the other man a look. "I guess not anymore."

"Perfect." The other man shamelessly jumped out of the bed to get dressed. As he did his zippers, he cast the other man a smirk. "Fil, don't get dressed too much. You won't need it once we get to your room."

Fil chuckled as she cast the man a look. "Behave yourself, Jack."

As the two get dressed, the other man by the door could only watch them in silence. It was as though he hadn't processed what he had witnessed just now. He slowly moved his gaze to Fil, watching her pick up her purse before marching in his direction.

But before she could walk past him as if she hadn't done something unspeakable, the man grabbed her arms to stop her.

"Fil," he called under his breath. "What's the meaning of this?"

Fil and Jack, the man she was having an illicit affair with, looked at him.

"Isn't it obvious?" Fil arched a brow. "I'm cheating on you, Vincent."

Vincent clasped her arm tighter, unable to say anything after her remarks. Fil, on the other hand, observed his expression quietly and leisurely.

"Did it hurt?" she asked after a moment of silence before she nodded. "It should, Vin. It should hurt you like hell because you deserved it."

Fil, who was once a pushover and wouldn't normally fight back, snatched her arm back from his tight grip. Her eyes sharpened as she looked at her now ex-fiance straight in the eye and said,

"What I felt when I was in that same spot killed me on the spot."
